We stopped by on the way to New York. Lovely restaurant. We ordered grilled shrimp for the kids, and they loved it. It came with... fries, juice and extremely rich chocolate brownie. For us, we ordered cream chowder, hush puppies and Cobb salad with lump crabmeat. The first two was a little sweet for us, but the salad was excellent. Service and atmosphere was good but food was subpar. However, their Crabs were pretty good. I had the California burger which... was just a plain burger with Avocado, bacon, tomato and lettuce...but no type of sauce. In my opinion, a specialty burger shouldhave a sauce which sets it apart from a regular burger...otherwise, it's just a burger. Reply to owners response: I did ask ifit came with a sauce and was told it did not. Therefore, I asked for one, as seen on my plate in the photo but, unfortunately,the sauce I chose didn't go well with the burger toppings which is why the sauce should be chosen by the chef. So, again, ifyou place a particular name to a burger, a signature sauce also helps set the burger apart from being just a burger withtoppings. To me, what I had was a cheeseburger with Avocado, bacon, lettuce and tomato there was nothing special about theburger. Adding Avocado doesn't make it a California burger. Read more
Good food, great staff, and affordable! Cream of crab soup was yummy and very rich. I got fish and chips and it was very good, I... especially loved the fries. They also have options for your non-seafood lovers. And if you?re lucky you can get a seat with aview of the water. Will definitely eat here again! Read more
First time trying this place and I?ll tell you it is a must try the waitress (Heather) was excellent small little place but... well worth it we walked in at 6pm on a Saturday night and they got us right in (just pure luck) I can?t believe I haven?t triedthis place a lot sooner. I loved it when I walked in and saw all of the bright colors and beach look, it was refreshing and inviting. The service was... slow but the food came out fast and scrumptious. The crab hush puppies is a must try! I was surprised in the quality of thesehush puppies. You get 6 crab hush puppies packed with crab meat that were perfectly crunchy. It had to be my favorite thing thatI tried here. Served with mustard on lettuce. The cream of crab soup was good but not my favorite, but I have highexpectations.. I also tried the rockfish tenders which were crispy and served on a piece of lettuce. ?? for allergens, most ofthe food is platted on lettuce so if you have a lettuce allergy let them know! Read more
Got the Southern Maryland Crab Melt with Swiss and Tomatoes on a Croissant. Crab was rich and well seasoned, the buttery... croissant perfectly complemented the creamy crab patty. The Crab Hush Puppies were delicious, especially coming here from Jerseywhere Hush Puppies are uncommon, but very welcomed. If you're a party of two and attempting outdoor lunch, make sure to comeearly as two person shaded seating is limited. Even still, the food was so delicious and the view of the bay created a lovelylunch. We had a magical time, as I normally shy away from Crab but couldn't resist the pictures. Read more
This is an excellent seafood restaurant with a wide variety of choices on the menu. If you enjoy seafood you need to put Water... Street Seafood on your must visit list. It is a great place with amazing view. The alegator tail and oyster were the best thing I tasted from there. Def must try that... two dishes. The clam that day weren't fresh, the bread bowl is a bit salty but def have a lot of crab meat. The crab hushpuppies have too much breading to my liking. However the price is amazing. Read more
