Adorable place. Food was fine. Website says they close at 4:00. When we called to make a reservation they confirmed closing... was 4:00. But at 2:00 they said they were going to be closing now that the owner often changes their mind and can do what theywant. We had to pay our bill with half a pot of tea left and get our desserts boxed to go. Read more

High Tea at Bella's is a beautiful and unique experience with delicious teas and tea sandwiches. The scones (ours were... butterscotch) were fresh and scrumptious. Several bite sized treats were also available. Lots of little jars with adorable, tiny spoons of honey, clotted cream, lemon curd, creamer etc. Would have preferred a tiny little more fruit offerings sinceeach of us were limited to half a strawberry and a single thin slice of orange. Servers were nice and helpful but could havechecked on us a little more often. Would go again and recommend to others. Read more

I came here for a wedding shower. The space inside is pretty small, there's one front room with a couple tables and another ... back room that's slightly bigger. The table settings and decorations are very whimsical, going for a more mismatched style withfloral wallpaper and paintings. There's some steeet parking out front and also parking lot near American legion that you canquickly walk from so it's not too terrible for the downtown area. The food itself was the most mediocre part. The tea was tea,the desserts tasted prepackaged that they arranged, and the sandwiches were cucumber, ham, eggs, and chicken salad I think, butit tasted like a plain sandwich. It's an okay place if you're looking for something quaint and small. If you're looking for amore lavish/fancy tea house style, or good tea food, I would suggest going elsewhere. Read more

Food was delicious and enough to take some home. Broccoli cheese soup (obviously homemade) was a hit even with kids. Scones... fresh from the oven were large and very good. Desserts were exceptional. Very cute decor, too. Read more

Called in advance to ask if they have vegan food for tea. They said absolutely, from start to finish. They also said there would... be a $4 up-charge. Fine. I understand. It's not a vegan restaurant but if they go to the trouble of making vegan food, I'llhappily pay extra. We made a reservation. You had a choice of broccoli cheddar soup or a salad. Vegan broccoli cheddar? "Let meask." The server returned and said "No, just salad." OK, I got the salad. "Ranch or balsamic?" She didn't know if they had veganRanch and so I just opted for the balsamic. In the meantime, someone else marches up to our table and says "WHO'S THE VEGAN?"Ugh. She tells us there will be a slight wait as they had to send someone to the grocery store. We drank all our tea while wesat and waited. Our guess was it was for the "vegan" sandwiches and desserts. The vegan tea sandwiches consisted of slicedcucumber on dry white bread and hummus in tortilla. The desserts were fresh blueberries/raspberries and what seemed likestrawberry and blueberry pie filling. There was one hot scone which was OK. We wanted to split the check but the server told usit couldn't be done. One of us had to pay the entire bill. And she was annoyed that we questioned why it couldn't be done. Ifyou aren't plant based, the food is fine. But don't set expectations if you can't deliver. Read more

The last time I went to a tea room was 10. My boyfriend and I decided to go to Bella's because the other tea room we wanted to... go to was full of reservations. We called up Bella's and they told us we could just come in! My favorite part about Bella's wasthe atmosphere, it's decor is suitable for a little girl and an 80 year old woman. The mismatch tea sets and plates just takeyou to another place in time. The server seemed new to the tea room, but everything was fine. Our table was a bit crammed and Ifound it difficult to get into my seat because it was placed right by a cabinet. I'm not a big girl by any means, but I had toslant my chair to get into my chair. The tea was good! We tried both the raspberry and the strawberry, the strawberry was myfavorite. The tea sandwiches were a bit bland, but they were good. The sweets that were provided were also pretty good! Thetomato soup was definitely my favorite food of the day! It was the best tomato soup that I've ever had! Read more
