Today there was a small mix up in orders, I was pressed for time & left. To my surprise One of the servers ran out to the... parking lot with the order & an Apology for the mix up. That was a very kind gesture. Says a lot about Leadership & QualityService mates. This Restaurant cares about their patrons & the Food is DELICIOUSO Read more

The best food and nicest people. I own the boutique around the corner and order from Havertown Grille often. They are always so... friendly, thoughtful and kind. I've ordered a variety of different things on their menu and nothing ever disappoints. Love beingtheir neighbor!!! Read more

Hello and this is the first time that I visited this place. I have wanted to visit for awhile, because I am looking for a good... breakfast and lunch spot. They open at 8 am and close at 2:30 pm every day. Mondays, they are closed. I was trying to figure outwhere to park. No street parking. They have a parking lot, where other businesses have the ability to utilize for theircustomers. There is a kiosk where you pay your money, different rates for different times. A quarter purchases 30 minutes forexample. I received a receipt and away I went. When I arrived, about noon, I was promptly greeted by Kaysee, who was anemployee. I said, I was interested in takeout and Kaysee handed me a menu. They also have dine-in. There is a good amount ofseating available. Also, there are bar stools for counter eating. The menu looked great, with a lot of choices to choose from. Idecided on a Caesar salad with chicken, a cheeseburger and a turkey club sandwich with side orders of sweet potato fries andtater tots. The cheeseburger was $12.00, the Caesar salad w/chicken was $14.00, the sweet potato fries were $7.00, the tatertots were $5.00 and the turkey club sandwich was $14.00. The subtotal was $52.00, tax was $3.12 and the total was $55.12. I paidin cash but there were other payment options available, like debit and credit card. It didn't take long to receive my food, like15 minutes and everything was wrapped expertly in styrofoam containers and placed in a paper bag with napkins and paperutensils. I must say that Kaysee and the owner were very friendly and cordial folk. I asked Kaysee how long the diner was thereand the owner said about eleven years. The food was delicious when I arrived home for lunch. The sweet potato fries were thehighlight of the lunch!! I will return. Happy Holidays!!!! Read more

2021 June: great food, good service, good price. Goat cheese omelette was great. Might have a 5 minute wait but worth it.

Breakfast cheesesteak, it's on the menu. $8.50ish. It came on a long roll. The meat and eggs were mixed together nicely. I... determined on further review that the cheese was melted on top. That made me sad. On my breakfast cheesesteaks I guess I needto start getting ketchup or something. I think the eggs make them dry. This one was made with an acceptable level of brotherlylove. The Havertown Grill on Darby Road is a local breakfast and lunch joint in the heart of Havertown. It features a clean, well-lit... and open atmosphere and a very attentive and friendly staff. The menu includes standard breakfast fare with several upscaledishes. Ample parking is available at the lot on Darby Rd. This weekend our tour of Havertown coffee and breakfastestablishments brought my companion and me to The Havertown Grill. Conveniently located on Darby Rd, the Havertown Grill isbuilt on the bones of my favorite Havertown greasy spoon: ?Hannes?. The address is the same, but so much else has changed forthe better. Where Hannes was Gritty, the Havertown Grill is more civilized and refined. In addition to the expected breakfast, the menu includes such things as Nutella, Brioche and Eggs Benedict. They also feature LavAzza coffee in bottomless mugs. Thismorning I had Cream Chipped Beef on toast, (SOS), with thick cut bacon and home fries; my companion had Avocado Toast with fruitsalad. Servers checked on us regularly, refilling coffee as needed. I think that the owner / chef was even chatting up acustomer in the other room. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The cost for a large breakfast for two with extra bacon andan iced coffee came to about $25. Do yourself a favor and bring a friend to this great, local establishment! TheBillo313 Read more
