Get ready for a trip to another place, far above the ordinary. This restaurant primarily serves Dominican food for takeout, and... it's a flavor explosion. There are small tables if you can't wait to get home with your food. We spent $25 for two plus drinkbut after eating to excess there's plenty of food left to make another meal. My middle-schooler makes mmm mmm mmm sounds whileeating. The rice with peas sends her to Nirvana. The fried chicken is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The friedYuca are done to perfection. The pasteles are moist, filled with chicken. The rice with beans are good but the rice and peas areour preference. If they offer a casserole made with lean ground beef, yellow plantains, and topped with cheese, don't leavewithout getting a big square. If you don't know what something is, just ask the server or one of the other patrons. There arechilled foods behind the counter, so take a look. If you're like me and have never been to the Caribbean, don't speak fluentSpanish, but love good food have no fears, take a leap of faith. Tried to charge me $10 for 2 pastels, this is at almost closing time. Food here is rarely fresh here. Do yourself a favor and... take a ride to Lawrence, where the food is way better! They also have no customer service skills! Read more
Food was excellent. Service could definitely be better. Prices are fair. Ordered arroz con gandules and didn't realize it wasn't... in the bag. When we called they claimed that it was never charged when it clearly was. We were disappointed. Read more
