I am so upset about this location. I have been to Wayne location and it was above 5 stars in all aspects. But haverford location... is the worst worst place ever in my life. The management is worst and also chef is more worst. Food is yucky and all veggies wasburnt and fish was dry and restroom smells like nobody cleaned it in thousand years. Please don’t waste your time and money. Please drive a little more and go to Wayne location. Read more

This was my first time at The White Dog Cafe and I enjoyed it very much! First let's talk about the staff. Welcoming, friendly... and the very BEST customer service I've encountered in a very long time. That alone is a #1 reason for this 5 star review. Ourserver was attentive and amazing, a great representative of the restaurant. Now the food one word to describe everything...FRESH! From the oysters to the peach ???? cobbler. I look forward to going back for dinner and happy hour in the coming weeks. If I could I would give them 10 ?????????? Read more

Walked over from Haverford and was seated immediately upon arriving around 5:30-40pm on a Tuesday evening. Plenty of tables... inside and outside were free. Happy hour specials were good deals, but I opted for the steak udon salad as it stood out as anunique offering. Entreés were a bit on the pricey side, but the portions were more generous than at first meets the eye. Thesalad was tasty and more like a cold noodle dish with greens and veggies added in. The shared appetizers for the table were abit too large for the outdoor tables with four people's mains on it as well, I would recommend a better workaround to the lackof table space for these situations. The flower beds were vibrant and nice to look at, but attracted a lot of flying bugs aroundthem, and consequently, our food, though it never proved to be a real issue, just a mild annoyance. A very cute, upscale localeatery with a distinctive vision. Read more

The last time I went was when it first opened, and I had a normal, average experience. The service was normal for a local... restaurant, and the food was a little above average. However, I decided to come back with my two kids after two years. It was anabsolutely amazing experience! It was all kid friendly and the food was great! I extremely recommend the burger and fries. Otherlocal restaurants that I have been to have had burgers which break apart and are too dry, however, this burger is obviously verywell-prepared. They also have a special sauce they put on the burger which makes it even better. The fries are also well aboveaverage and went great with the sauce that was provided with them. In addition to this, you can get the burger at a discount ifyou go during happy hour. I totally recommend anyone going to this restaurant, because the service and food is amazing, and itis very kid-friendly! Read more

My reservation was at 1230 and we didn’t get seated until 105. It was pretty busy so I’m sure that was the reason there was... a delay with being seat. I highly recommend reservations even if you might not be seated at your reservation time. Also no morebottomless mimosas. We were kinda sad to findout that no longer was available because that’s the main reason we came. Iordered the salmon tacos with truffle parm fries. My drink was a peach bellini. We were also give a comp cheese plate. Mysalmon tacos were flavorful however I felt like more salmon could’ve been given for the price. The truffle fries were reallygood- crispy and you can taste the truffle and it complimented the yellow sauce Read more

Starting with the overall atmosphere and service we were very pleased. Food quality was on par but nothing exceptional for the... prices. The perogies were delicious but only 4 small ones to a plate. Butternut squash ravioli was interesting with such a freshtopping it was different and tasty. The sides are large enough to share but barely for 2. Plus the mac and cheese was more pastathan cheese so I wouldn't actually recommend. Read more

Generally it was great, I especially love the lamb bolognese I had. However, I think the cheese plate and desserts could be... improved a little bit more. First the present of cheese plate was a little bit poor. The cream puff was soggy even outside, andthey used canned peach instead of fresh one. Brownie was rich but too soft and crumbling. Not that recommend. Read more
