Waited for food for takeout meanwhile a hispanic group sat there saying racial slurs and the n word the whole time. I addressed... it and they continued and staff did not care whatsoever. No one wants to sit and establishment and hear racial slurs the wholetime waiting on food. Staff was lazy and unaware of menu and seemed not to car about too much. I know the job may not pay thatgreat but they defintely acted like it and unconcerned about whatever is going on from food to the people. Read more
We arrived around 730 pm. Out of 6 booths, 4 we're dirty and 1 was occupied. Both the cook and the waitress were less than happy... to see customers coming in. Our orders were messed up as well as the people sitting behind us. The staff refused to answer thephone and even turned the ringer off after the 4th call. Other customers left because the cook displayed an attitude when theycame in. It was a horrible atmosphere and the food that we did receive was way over cooked. When I dined in at this restaurant after 12am I was greeted my an Waffle House employee. The waitress took my order I did enjoy... having breakfast at 12am when I had a lot on my mind and could not sleep. I was really glad there were a Waffle House Restaurantwithin driving distance. I find it amazing that a restuarant named waffle house makes the worst waffles ever ... soft with no outer crunch and floppy... like a pancake .. if you want a good waffle go to Bayside in Havelock or Cox diner in Morehead city .. We won't go to wafflehouse for a waffle again Read more
