i want to begin this with a disclaimer: it could have been the DAY i went, i have had god experiences with marble slab before... but this location is NOT the best, far from it! i have been here twice. both times it was MELTING! when they gave it to me! thelady working gave me a cup to put my cone into (at that point i was telling everyone in line to get a cup behind me) and thenthe whole friend group i was with proceeded to have food poisoning. something was off with the ice cream that day! it was such abad experience that i might NEVER go back to this location! the only reason this is 2 stars and NOT 1 is because other locationsare good! definitely disappointed in this. I?ve never had a service issue and that?s the only reason I gave it 3 stars. I would give negative 5 stars for the actual store.... There is a nasty-looking hole in the ceiling above the ice cream counter and the air conditioner doesn?t work and hasn?t workedin months. This is south Mississippi! The only reason I give 1 star is bc I give negative stars. This is absolutely the most unprofessional business in the... Hattiesburg area. My family and I come often and each time it gets worse. Came in 4/2/22 around 3pm and the Caucasian guy wascoughing consistently with his mouth wide open. No mask and begin to have the sniffles. He was extremely rude and rushing us todecide what we wanted. With scoop in his right hand, he then covers his mouth with his right arm and begin coughing again. Hethen looks at us with this look basically saying ?so you going to order or what?? We decided to leave but due to the fact thatsomething always happen, I later called the store to speak with the owner or manager. Dave answered the phone and stated?there?s no manager here so what do you want?? I responded that I called to speak with the manager. He later puts the phonedown and answer as If he?s the manager. I asked what was his name and he said ?Dave?. I then replied ?then you?re not themanager?. He then says ?I?m sorry to tell you but they?re never here so I don?t know what to tell ya?. I went back To the storewhere Dave lied that he didn?t speak to me when he did then gave me a false phone number to speak with the owners. I can assureyou that will be my last time there. I?ve been visiting marble slab since I was young, and it?s always been so good. Sadly? the past two years, every time I go, the... ice cream is watery. It melted immediately. Very nice place, and extremely nice people. Excellent ice cream. Had a chocolate shake, much better than a fast food place or... Baskin Robbins. My mom had some white chocolate ice cream, also excellent. The slab where they mix in the toppings is cool too. Read more
