It was horrible they food was burnt the service was subpar. During the meal I asked for extra cheese because they literally gave... me less than a scoop the waitress leaves then comes out and tells me how much it would be when I never even asked. I've neverhad that happen in life. Read more

As someone who eats all over the country and LOVES Mexican food, whether it?s from a food truck or hole in the wall shack or a... sit down restaurant. This place was a HUGE disappointment. I have never in my life had a street taco served to me with only onecorn tortilla, no lime , no cucumber or radish or pickled carrots, and no kind of sauce. When I asked the waiter about it, heseriously looked confused. The steak meat had zero flavor and was so full of grizzle and fat, it was almost uneatable. I guessavocado must be pretty expensive as I only got 3 thin slices on my dry burrito. I would not recommend this place. Read more
I had the Don Chuy Burrito and my wife had the Bisteak Mexicana. Service was fast and the food delicious.
We have been wanting to check this place out for a while. The parking lot was a bit more full then usual so we figured it?s... catching on and worth a visit. Well, it surely was! Let me start off with, this is the best cheese dip in Hattie, salsa wasn?tlacking in flavor either. We made a modification to on dish as we weren?t sure about the Guajillo sauce, however it was good insmall portions(the orange sauce we got on the side). La fiesta, just better! If you've been missing La fiesta and Fuzzy's and El Rayo just aren't cutting it, Don Chuy's is what... you've been looking for! The margaritas are perfect, bean and queso dip is something I'll think about until I have again andservice was excellent! I had the chicken quesadilla and I enjoyed it and got full, but it was pretty basic. Not at all spicy and from what I could see... and taste, it was just chicken, cheese, and sauce. That suited me fine as I dislike big chunks of peppers and onions that Ioften find at other Mexi-american restaurants. The lettuce and tomato were fresh. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
