Solid eats with some good views, the bar staff was attentive and quick.... They aren't stingy with the drinks which is... refreshing... We weren't able to sit outside because we came during peak times, so we opted to sit at the bar. The guy next tome had the seafood medley, which looked really good and offered a few different items... So I got that. We also had the calamariwhich was very good as well. I highly recommend the swordfish bites if they have them! Good atmosphere and vibe. I would comeback again. Try to get there a little early for dinner especially if you have the family with you. ???? The staff at Breakwater is fantastic, both in terms of customer service and general interpersonal interactions. The restaurant... has both a very cozy interior as well as a well-planned, gorgeous deck area for outdoor seating. As far as the food isconcerned, there are few places I would rather eat at in the area. The seafood is fresh, well prepared, and certainly somethingI look forward to every time I'm in town. I only ever visit the area once per year, and Breakwater is one of my go-to stopsevery time. Read more
Great spot to eat outside. Are food was good we had appetizers dinner and dessert. Are service was good but felt rushed. I had... only eaten half my appetizer before my dinner arrived, and didn't have room for both on the table. I didn't feel a friendly vibefrom our waitress. They had live music that we really enjoyed. Came here on a Sunday evening when they opened for dinner. Service was enthusiastic and quick. Enjoyed our server?s Halloween... costume too. The live music was a nice touch for dinner service. We started with some drinks. I had both a pineapple lemonadeand a channel marker from the drink menu while my husband just had bourbon on the rocks. We then had the seafood sampler for anappetizer and everything was prepared well. For entrees my husband had the fresh catch special and I had shrimp & grits. Thefresh catch was fried well and the fries and coleslaw were good as sides. My shrimp & grits had such good flavor that my husbandwas sad he hadn?t ordered it also.
