I usually go to the Blue Mound location, but we moved out to Haslet recently so thought I'd give this location a try and it... sucked! Got me and my wife a loaded baked potato with brisket for each one of us and apparently this location takes the libertyof building it for you. The Blue Mound location gives you all the ingredients (except for the meat) in small containers on theside. And I'm sure we were supposed to get a roll with our order too, but didn't. Got home and my bag was full of grease!Apparently the guy making my order put out potatoes in the containers upside down! So all the grease leaked out into the bag andall over my truck and on the counter at home. We will definitely not go to this location to order food and get slop instead. Sofar everything out here for restaurants don't compare to the mainland. Smh Read more
I went to this particular restaurant to order my sons lunch for work since I did not have time to make something today. I've... been to Dickey's throughout the DFW area and this is the first time I had an issue like this. I ordered what was on the menudescribed as the Thursday special: smoked chicken, green beans and a roll for $9.50 x3 which would be around $28.50 withouttaxes. I was charged $40.78 and that's with the military discount. I was charged for the jalapeño cheddar kielbasa and pulledpork 2 meat plate, Lay's bbq chips x2, Gold peak tea unsweet x1 which was the grand total $13.95 x3 equals $41.85 - the militarydiscount of $4.18 subtotal $37.67 + $3.11 in taxes Total $40.78. That is very disheartening that someone would be deceitful anddishonest. I will never go back to this location and I suggest you take a look at your receipts if you continue to eat there. Read more
Charlie was wonderful to our family! She was very patient with us as we asked several questions about the menu and I?ve never... eaten there before. I?m pretty picky and I was extremely pleased with the customer service we received and the quality of thefood and the barbecue was extremely juicy. My toddlers loved the free ice cream machine! It was so thoughtful to place thatthere. I got the chicken deal of the day and it was seasoned perfectly and Fed my entire family of five for about $25. My first time here and it was ok. I got 3 meat plate. Brisket was very good. Ribs not really. Too dry and almost no meat on... them, just bones. Chicken was good but little bit to dry. Place in clean. People are nice. Read more
Yeah this location is not good at all. The so called pit master yelled at me. The cashier was just as rude. Not that anyone was... in there but me but for the love of lamb... Don't yell at your customers because you're having a bad day. Food quality was poor,the bbq sauce had been watered down. Who does that? First time in there... Deffinately the last. Absolutely worst catering ! With very much lack of management and detail . Specifically ordered ?CATERING FOR 15 PEOPLE? .... Delivery driver shows up in FLIP FLOPS with a bag of to go containers. Upon opening the bag - come to find out 2 TO GOcontainers were used for each meat selection , mind you this is to be served in a line for a retirement lunch. On top of that -a Cesar salad with meat was ordered and came with lettuce and cesear in a small cup . The sides were also in 2 cup containersper side . AGAIN THIS IS TO BE SERVED IN A BUFFET TYPE LINE . Spoke to ?management? (Mike) - who stated ?well we packaged andrang you up like a family pack? Now my question - who orders a family pack for 15 people . Mike was no help , only to state , Icut the meat and packaged it . Had no remorse or ?fix? for the issue . We had excellent service. Some businesses have had to adjust because of covid and lack of help. I've been there quite a few... times over several months and have watched them get better. Everything was hot and we had good service....I will be going backagain because they by far have a great Giant baker with everything on it.
