The shrimp pasta was so so but the dat Cajun potato was pretty good. Has some spice in it. The corn and sausage were bland.
While ordering the girl behind the counter was too distracted talking with her friend to take the order accurately. Even though... she said it correctly she still entered it wrong. My husband got home and noticed one of the meals was incorrect, it wasn't hisso he didn't know what it was supposed to look like. We called ahead to let them know so we could have it corrected. When he gotthere they still hadn't even bothered to start making it so he had to wait even longer while the food at home was getting cold.The girl tried to lie and make excuses of why it was wrong and didn't bother to even apologize. When my husband spoke to themanger she informed us she couldn't even comp anything for the owner doesn't allow the managers to do anything only the ownercan. So basically even the managers can't take care of the customers properly. The owner is very cheap and doesn't care aboutthe customers needs or inconvenience. I came to this joint on my brief trip to New Orleans. It was close to my hotel so I decided to give it a shot. The restaurant... has a walk up counter to order with plenty of seeting available to the right hand side of the joint. I ordered the Traditional,whole, topped w/cheddar cheese and a root beer soda. I figured you couldnt go wrong with the tried and true. It was delicious.The spud wasn't over cooked or dry and came with lots of margarine. I prefer butter but this wasn't bad. It?s a ducked off restaurant that is definitely a place to visit. The wait was a bit long but the cashier/waiter ensured that we... were doing okay while waiting. We had the crawfish potato, seafood potato, Alfredo chicken pasta, chicken nuggets and fries, andcheeseburger. Everything was great but the burger could?ve been better. The snowball was yummy especially with the condensedmilk. The bathroom was clean each time that I used it during my time there. Wife and I stopped here for dinner. I got a potato and she got the shrimp and corn bisque. Mine was the seafood spud and I loved... it. My wife was not all that thrilled with the bisque and I don?t blame her after trying it. It did taste a little better thanit looked. My spud has shrimp, crab, and crawfish in a creamy sauce. Get it!! 1st time but definitely not the last. I'm an extremely picky eater and am watching my weight but this eatery is causing me to... second guess my eating habits. I enjoyed a steak fajita stuffed potatoes and an order of funnel fries. Yummy! My husband anddaughter enjoyed a chicken fajita potato and seafood potato. Read more
I must say I am a new customer and I am really impressed. Sunday was the first time we ordered a potato and it was so good I... wanted another one. We ordered the taco potato and you could tell the taco meat was homemade and cooked to perfection. Thepotato was huge and the amount of taco meat and cheese was perfectly portioned. I highly recommend! They have a large menu incase you want something besides a potato. Very reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food you receive. A+++ Read more
