Visited during a beautiful day in the fall. So nice the playground and petting zoo are still free. Prices went up for the... "rides" but we just bought a wristband for the kids for $10 each. Paid for itself a few times over. Of course we are the freshapple cider donuts with apple cider to drink! So good!! Such a wonderful place for families and we love to support theirmission. Read more

Our favorite orchard to visit. The gift shop is awesome! Excellent cafeteria style lunch counter with good food every time. The... Chicken Pot Pie is fantastic. This is the only place I can find my favorite Snow Sweet Apples. Read more

Beautiful orchard. My family have been to many orchards and this one was well kept and had kids climbing areas with hand made... wooden vehicles etc, very well done. They also had a store with other apples and a dining area. There was also a carousel and akiddy train ride. The apple bags were small, but the apples very tasty. It is a smaller place but wonderful for the kids and anafternoon out. Thanks for a great afternoon. Read more

Fresh Apple Cider donuts were delicious. Great variety of apples to pic. However, it's on the expensive side with $12 entry to... the orchard. Entrance fee to the apple maze is separate. Read more

This place has a lot of fun, is disabled patron friendly, wheelchair Access, wagon/stroller friendly. Plenty of fun for family... members of EVERY age. I will say right now COVID is a damper--not all attractions are open and available. I was alsodisappointed in how expensive everything was. Definitely plan to spend around $200-$300. They have a restaurant, bakery, playground, pumpkin patch, tractor wagon ride, train ride, apple picking, petting zoo, and apple maze. There's lots of fun to behad, but we would not come back here again. There are just other fall fun places that offer a lot and don't nickel and dime you. Read more

Not to thrilled about a cash only system for kids rides. The entry only includes 1/2 peck, which is only 6-10 apples depending... on the size. Another item to consider is to make the prices of the donuts more competitive (especially since they are madethere) as no marketing or transportation costs are incurred. Some bakeries in Chicago or stores have donuts that are as good orbetter for lower prices. Besides, venting about the cost issue the overall experience was enjoyable and the employees were allfriendly and professional. Read more

My wife and I decided to do something different for my birthday, and visited the lovely Royal Oak Farm Orchard. It's a fairly... large orchard with an excellent selection of succulent apples of all different types, varieties, and tastes. It depends on thetime of year for which apples you can harvest for $10 a bag. The trees are easy to pick from and they're overloaded with big fatjuicy apples. They also have a cool corn maze and some rides for the wee little ones. They have a wonderful selection oftakeaways of all different sorts in their gift shop. We got a couple of super thick and comfy hoodies and some other goodies tosnack on and remember our trip. Overall it's a really nice experience and a great time for families, couples or anyone wholoves happiness... Read more
