We?ve been wanting to dine at Shug?s for some time after receiving very positive feedback from friends in the area. Our wait on... a Saturday night was about 20 minutes, but we know it can be much longer depending on the date/time. Our drinks and honeybutter croissant appetizers arrived very quickly. The croissants were awesome! Our daughter?s sushi arrive next and was alsogood. The only complaint for the evening was that our waitress seemed to disappear for 30 to 45 minutes before bringing out ourmain course. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing!! Dined here while visiting family in Bishopville. Every time we pass it, they are packed. We had to park in the grass across... the road. (this is typical) We choose to sit at the bar (NO WAIT:)). Food was delicious, service was friendly and fast. Good conversations with neighboring patrons. Wish I took pictures. Read more
Pleasantly surprised how good this place is. Had their Chicken Carne Grits and grits were right amount of consistency. Wife had... the Salmon and was very good too (but make sure you ask for it to be cooked "medium"). After more than an hour wait our party of 9 were invited in to be seated. We were given 2 separate booths and we couldn't even... see each others tables! We were given our drinks in a timely fashion, but didn't return to take our orders for at least 20minutes. During this time some people left and we were able to get a table closer, but all of us weren't able to see eachother. Then were given our silverware rolled in a napkin. Upon opening we discovered that all of our silverware were dirty. The waitress brought us new ones and again dirty, then again, and again dirty, then we asked for manager and she could see theywere dirty, she then handwashed and brought out our silverware. Now after more waiting salads arrived. Okay Salads eaten. Norolls yet. Then 1 person at our table got their food and 3 people at our other tabl got theirs. So we ask about the rolls andthey bring us some. Now these guys are almost finished eating when the rest of us guys finally get our food to eat. I find ithard to believe that after all this messed up suppose to be family together! Hours! Seriously hours! They got all their money,and all their tips! I won't be back for their over priced food. I absolutely love this place! The chicken wings in Shug sauce is my favorite! There food is cooked very well & customer service... is on point! This is one of our favorites. We drive an hour to get there. Great sushi and a filet mignon that melts in your mouth. Top... notch service. Our glass is kept full. Waitress always gets a great tip. Only draw back is... you can't have a large partybecause of the way its set up. I would give them 10 stars if we're an option. ???????????????????????????????????????? Read more
