The very first time my wife and I went to Osaka it was a couple of weeks after it first opened and things did not go very well,... but let me tell you we went back yesterday and it was an amazing experience! It was like two different restaurants. The staffwas super friendly and attentive , the food was delicious and brought out not long after ordering and the prices are not bad atall! Osaka has definitely restored my faith in them and their restaurant and we will be coming back more often! We ordered themiso soup and ginger salad which were very refreshing and we ordered the volcano roll the deep fried California roll and thesnow mountain roll and mannnnn they were to die for! My favorite restaurant in Hartselle! Me and my boyfriend had dinner here last night and our waitress was AMAZING. Best service... I?ve had in a long time. She was so professional and sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also great!The family that owns it is super cute and I wish them all the best. Nice staff and good food! They have all what I need . Sushi is fresh, hibachi fried rice is tasty, not to salty, not to light( I... used to go to Ninja in Decatur, but they are way down now) The staff is friendly, they deserve get more than 5 stars. Read more

Extremely welcoming, friendly staff working in a beautiful and tidy restaurant area. The fish was so fresh and delicious! The... presentation of the dishes were also very pretty and detailed. Honestly, this was the tastiest, freshest sushi I have ever had(I even used to live in California and this beat any sushi restaurant over there.) I tried the sashimi dinner plate with misosoup. My fiance had 2 special rolls, and we shared the takoyaki (also the best takoyaki I've ever had as well!!) We will becoming back when we want to have some delicious, refreshing sushi. Cozy Oriental decorated Japanese restaurant perfect for date night or family meal. It was my first time ordering a bento box.... The portions were enough for 3 people. The mixed vegetables, cooked in a light sauce, were the best flavor I've eaten. The largetempura shimps had a thin batter. The dumplings were cook to perfection and delicious. I?m a local who found the Osaka menu on Facebook after hearing it recently opened. We decided to try a to-go order for lunch... and was pleased with the hibachi combinations. The restaurant seemed clean and the staff was friendly while I picked up thefood. The online order flow was simple, but one concern here would be with the website as both my Safari and Facebook browserssuggested I not use the site due to being identified as a security risk. My husband and I just tried Osaka's for the first time. We got a Waiter named Elijah, and today was his first day. He was... awesome! Thank you Elijah and the Sushi Chef. Dinner was wonderful ???? We started with the Snow Crab Salad, tasted good????**** it was a little dry and hard to eat. Then the Shrimp Sumomono! So refreshing!
