As always Cracker Barrel is my go to breakfast place. The atmosphere is nice and with winter coming the fireplace is a hit. If you are looking for good country food, you just can't beat Cracker Barrel. I always get the meatloaf with mashed potatoes... and brown gravy, macaroni and cheese and okra. Yesterday I tried the loaded sweet potato for the first time. It was delicious. I'll definitely be having it again. The service is always great! Our waiters name was Brandon and he was super friendly andchecked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The gift shop is an added bonus when eating at CrackerBarrel. They carry all kinds of things. Yesterday I bought the cutest wind chim. It was on sale and I got it for a great price.It is super nice and I can't wait to hang it outside. The lady at the checkout counter was so friendly. I didn't catch hername but she had blond hair. She was so friendly and went out of her way to show me and my step mom several good buys in thegift shop. We will definitely be back at Cracker Barrel in Hartselle!! Read more

Service was good but the food was not as good as normal. It just seem to be missing something. I don't know if the Cracker... Barrels up in Indiana are just better or what but just think it tasted like the food had been sitting under a heat lamp andwasn't very fresh. Read more

We met our grandsons at Cracker Barrel before they go to Birmingham to catch their plane to go home to San Antonio TX. We love... eating at Cracker Barrel. The staff is always friendly and making sure we have everything we need. Today is turkey and dressingwith sweet potato casserole , cranberry sauce, fried apples, and biscuits! It was sooo good! Our grandsons always order a bigbreakfast with pancakes, ham, sausage, gravy n biscuits and eggs. My step son ordered pancakes with cheesecake and strawberries!That was awesome!
