I was referred to check out this spot. Waste of my $$$. If you are a true fried chicken eater this is NOT the place. First, the... appearance of the chicken looked as if it were leftovers. The first impression was a good one. I ordered different dishes to go and spent around $50 and tipped 15%. My food was placed in... a plastic bag that got ripped. I politely asked for another and one of the staff told me it cost 10 cents each. Well I hadalready paid for my food with my card and it will be silly to charge 20 cents on the card. Luckily I had a quarter in my car,went out and paid for the bag. Left them with the change. Management take note. The staff was polite but unreasonable in thissituation. The food look and smell good. I come here all the time and usually have the best service. I come here mostly because it reminds me of my mothers cooking. I... was born here and am half Spanish, but my mother was born and raised in Spanish town. I never thought I would be discriminatedagainst here. I ordered a stew chicken with white rice and steam veg, the women gives me the smallest container and says theychanged the size, the person behind me orders the exact same thing and gets a larger container. Unacceptable. I even had my bfgo in and order after me. He?s darker skinned and has an accent and ordered the exact same thing and got treated better.Disappointed Read more
Enjoyed my Ackee and saltfish breakfast. Portion size big enough to share with 2 ppl especially paired with porridge or... dumplings. Meal came with boiled dumpling, yam and banana. Read more
