Extremely clean and brightly lit little restaurant. I stopped in around lunch time (1pm) and the food on display looked like it... had been freshly cooked and it all looked delicious. The lady at the register was nice, courteous and patient while she answeredany questions I had. My beef patty tasted great with a just a tiny bit of spice to it. For anyone thinking about eating here,please note: > They have no diet sodas. Their drink cooler looked packed so I don't think they were out and it was probablybecause they don't ever carry any. I ordered Jerk chicken pasta a few minutes before closing. When I got home the food was cold as if it was in the fridge. Pasta... was cold and the chicken wasn?t jerk but instead baked with ranch dressing. I called the restaurant immediately and explainedwhat happened, then they told me I must have gotten someone else?s food and I could come and get a freshly made order again.When I got there the cashier with the nastiest attitude ever, ignored me for approximately 3 minutes then put my food on thecounter then head back to the kitchen, without an apology (Worst customer service). I then attempted to eat the second plateand it sadly once again cold! I decided to just warm it up and eat it anyways. When I took my plate out the microwave there wasa weird smell like but I thought maybe it?s the sauce and I was starving!! I ate some and it tasted like raw baked chicken inItalian and ranch dressing! I couldn?t eat anymore because it was very distasteful!!! About 10 minutes later I had diarrhea andvomited once. I called the owners this morning and she was saying she has to investigate first, because anyone can call and saywhat I?m saying. She took my number, I waited but she never called back so I went to the restaurant with the two plate ofspoiled food and her attitude was nasty and she showed me the sign ?NO REFUND? and she kept defending her food and basicallydisbelieved what I told her and was very unprofessional! It was okay. The service wasn't very friendly and I wasn't to crazy about the food. My husband like the fish. I had oxtail and I... also purchased jerk pork. Oh I tried the cow foot. The oxtail wasn't tender, the jerk pork was very under seasoned and the cowfoot had too much hair on it. Read more
The food looks, smells and tastes delicious! There are a variety of items on the menu that make me happy that they do not have... their own delivery system! The cooks prepare and display the food just like the beautiful pictures. The service from the staffat the register is becoming more like the stereotypical Jamaican restaurant! It is feeling as though they have to be coercedinto a greetings other than next rather than showing an appreciation that there is a line during a pandemic when most businessesare struggling to remain open.
