Been coming here since 12 yrs old. They make best tuna grinder and pizza. My family love this place. Excellent customer service... and family-owned business for many years there are delightful and very friendly people. The atmosphere is very friendly, the service personnel welcome best with a smile and provided us options. Our food is cooked... perfection, we ordered a large pizza with jalapenos, pepperoni, and onions. The pizza was very well cooked, the cheese wasmelted to the right temperature. The jalapenos, pepperoni, and onions we're all fresh. The waitress checked with us twice duringour meal, which was the perfect amount. At one point I saw that our soda cups were almost empty, and she came over and asked ifyou wanted refills. I have eaten there numerous times now, trying their salads, grinders, and pizza. I've not been disappointedon any of the visits, the food was of quality texture, taste, and temperature. Got the fried chicken dinner for take-out. 4 pieces; breast, thigh, wing and drum that had a very good crunch. Came with fries... that were ok and also came with a pretty generic but fresh iceberg salad. Not a lot of places have real bone-in fried chickenbesides Popeyes/KFC. My favorite place to eat when I?m in town, I grew up right around the corner from George?s pizza in the 1970s and ate there once... a week, I have moved around the country and nobody compares! Pretty good pizzas in New York City and Philadelphia but personallyI start thinking about the hot Italian grinder days before arriving back home! Read more
If you like saucy and thick pizza this is the place was delicious got the George's special small pizza.
We never ate at George's before. We had their Pizza that was awesome. Just the right amount of sauce, cooked just right. Along... with that we had fried Calamari that was also excellent. We hadn't gone to George's Pizza in a while. We decided to go back once again. We've never had a negative experience there, we... were just going to other places. Well we were delightfully surprised. The food was very good. We ordered pizza, which of courseis there a specialty. It came in a very reasonable amount of time with excellent service. The staff there is friendly, warm, andpersonable. They were attentive to to us as customers. The restaurant was very clean and neat. This is a very neighborhood typerestaurant.
