I've been visiting here since 1992 and I still love the friendly atmosphere. They have one of the best pizzas in Hartford.... Everytime I have company, I have to take them there so they taste the amazing pizza I get to ea5 whenever I want ???? Read more
I very rareley give 5 star reviews. You walk in and the vibe very friendly and historic. We sat at the bar. They have a fresh... raw bar with oysters, clams and shrimp. We came to meet up with someone who was running very late. The bar tender gave us 2different kinds of bread and 2 shrimp on the house. We ordered a Margherita pizza. I have had the best pizza in NY,CT,MA, AZ andRI. When I say that their pizza is better than Sally's and the original Pepe's I know thats a bold statement. I dont go toHartford much but I will be back to take my friends and family here to try the pizza. It had to be fresh basil and crushedtomato sauce. Whenever I'm in the Hartford area I always have at least one dinner at First & Last in Hartford! The food is delicious! Our... group enjoyed the calamari, tomato/mozz salad & the meatballs & sausages for apps. Each of us had a different entree - one wasbetter than the next! Fresh clams with pasta was my favorite. The manager and staff are terrific! It was also great to see theytake social distancing very seriously. Masks required until you reach your table and, upon leaving your table to use therestroom, exit the resatuant, etc. Seating inside and out was well placed. Highly recommend! Read more
