There was a huge accident on 84 going in to my town. I saw on the way in to Hartford so I took my girl on a date here and it... was awesome. We stayed for about an hour and a half and let the traffic go away. The service was great the food was great beerwas great had a great time definitely recommend it. NAUGHTY NURSE!!!! We typically go here once a year on an annual trip and have no issues. I had to change this from a 4 star review to a 1 star... though. Granted, we were a group of 7 people, but this was unacceptable. We were the first to arrive at a completely emptyrestaurant. We had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to receive 6 out of the 7 dishes. Then we had to wait an additional 15minutes for the last dish. We asked for coffee, which we never got. We were repeatedly told it was on the brewer. Thewaitress avoided us like the plague. We asked for the check, which had the coffee on it. She immediately left to go take itoff the check, even though we told her "we will pay for it, we just want to leave!" We were so frustrated, on the way out wesaw a group of 7 people waiting to be seated and we convinced them to go elsewhere. It is a shame because the food is great,the portions are good and the prices are fair. But the service and wait time is not even remotely worth it. Read more
They're pretty heavy on the fried and meat options, although there are a few vegetarian options. I had the fried chicken, which... was a little thick and very chewy, but not bad. The fries were delicious. The beer is good. The atmosphere is a little too loudfor talking, it's definitely not a great place to have a conversation, but lots of fun if you're going to watch a game orcasually hang out. Read more
Had an excellent time for dinner. Drinks were great, food was great, and the servers were very nice. We finished our dinner in... the beautiful (and historic) dining area and went to the bar. Bar tenders were funny and great conversationalists. We had hungout long enough that we were told that they were having comedy night in their basement. So, we went. Host and feature wereabsolutely hilarious. Headliner was ok?but we still had a hell of a great time. After comedy, we went back upstairs where theyhave a huge game room where we played some pool and listened to the live music from the bar area. All in all, on a Saturdaynight there is so much to do in just 1 building. A restaurant, comedy club, game room, and brewery all wrapped up in one. Weshall return another day. Read more
Okay the vibes here are AMAZING. Our bartender was extremely attentive and kind. Happy Hour is Wed-Sun 3-6pm (which is everyday... lol) Such a cool place definitely recommend coming here. Wings are delicious and the pretzel is so good! Recommend the TwistSour Ale. Read more
