I had the chance to visit this restaurant last weekend; I found it on google. All I have to say is that it was absolutely... phenomenal; we had an AMAZING experience. Michelle, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and made greatrecommendations; we LOVED the food; it was definitely one of the BEST Mexican dishes I've ever had; the Guavarita was sodelicious, and the service was the BEST part. 7pm on a Tuesday - Downtown - walking, looking, but not finding much...I noticed the Agave Grill had customers (typically a good... sign), so in we went. Glad we did. Steak was tender and the Margaritas were excellent. Veronica was sweet and pleasant. I'llbe back. Read more
Great atmosphere especially when you?re sitting at the bar! Isaiah provides good customer service. The managers are very... attentive and all the servers are pretty good too. Margaritas are on point and food is tasty every time. Read more
I've given this place a few chances and it always underwhelming in flavor and overly pricey. The chicken adobo tacos had almost... no meat on them, basically flavorless and presented on Walmart tortillas for just over 18 dollars. The pasta Perez is a wholemess. The flavors don't make sense and the dish was filled with large chunks of inedible fat. I'm glad they've been able to findtheir niche in Hartford where flavor goes to die because a place like this couldn't survive in a town that understands Mexicanfood. Read more

I would give 10/5 just for their attention and service We saw them couple of times while taking a walk in downtown and before it... gets too cold wanted to sit and eat outside So on a Monday evening we went for dinner It was not too chilly, good if you arewearing a jacket kind of weather Nice ambience, good seating on the road We ordered: Fish tacos - very good, best inConnecticut, don?t know how some people gave reviews that it?s all batter and mandarin oranges are old but it was all excellentfor us? Chicken adobo tacos- again excellent Caipirinha- this is where I would give them extra credit.. I love caipirinha andthe first drink she brought was weird in taste, felt like too much salt.. something wasn?t right. But I didn?t even tell thestaff and few minutes later she brought me another one. Not only that tasted so good but I was bowled over by how theyunderstood the drink wasn?t good.
