A beautiful building that has a restaurant, suites, gift shops. They require a reservation and if 15 minutes late they will give... your table away. Food was fresh and delicious. The bread pudding had a strong bourbon flavor. Staff were friendly, knowledgeableand attentive. Read more
We enjoy this restaurant each time we visit. Service is impeccable. The staff are knowledgeable and make great suggestions. We... enjoyed the gluten free menu and found the kitchen to be more than accommodating of food allergies. Liked the gift shop herealso. Well curated local artists and thoughtful gifts. We especially loved talking to the gift shop employee. Every single staffperson we encountered was hospitable and helpful. We felt the food was a good value for the price, quality of every itemexcellent and portions were on the medium-to-large side. We cannot wait to return. Read more
The food was excellent and the service great. They bring coleslaw and corn bread to the table, to start your meal, which I... highly recommend. All the food is very good and they have a children's menu. Would recommend calling for a reservation as theyfill up fast or you can make reservations at the admission building. Read more
We weren't overly impressed by our lunch here. We got the peach salad which was supposed to come with grilled peaches, however,... they weren't grilled and pretty underripe. It was also a pretty small amount of salad for $16. It is worth stopping in for theshaker lemon pie though! That was delicious and served warm. Read more

Came for a Holiday lunch. It was a 3 course pre set meal. I had the grilled chicken with jezebel sauce, mashed potatoes and corn... pudding. It was delish. Only disappointment was they did not serve their signature mini corn bread sticks. We came here growingup and that was a main stay and something that made them unique. Had the traditional tomato celery soup which is a fav. I boughtthe cookbook years ago so I could make it @ home. The lemon???? shaker pie is uniquely Shakertown. The atmosphere is top notchwith the beautiful nostalgic Christmas decorations. Beautiful photo opps. The twin Spiral staircases are a sight. Do a tour andlearn about the shakers. In the summer months combine this visit was a paddle boat ride down the Kentucky River. Read more
