My boyfriend and I kind of stumbled upon this place when we visiting the area. We were shocked for what we received for the... affordable price. Room was clean, cozy and teleported us back in time (in a good way). The staff embodied southern hospitality.Our breakfast was yummy and they made a great cup of coffee. We have eaten here at the restaurant as a family over the years, as well as visiting for family pictures multiple times. We have... also been enjoying the scenery with the family. I can even remember coming here as a child in elementary school and visiting ona field trip and having a picnic lunch. it is beautiful and I have a lot of memories here that have been made. I had an absolutely amazing experience here. Could spend all day! Every staff member we interacted with was phenomenal! The... woman who sings sounds like an angel. Em J had so much fun information, we could have sat and listened to her all day (and wouldhave if the schedule wasn't so tight, lol). Beautiful grounds to walk around and enjoy the scenery. To sum in up, very relaxing. We had a wonderful time at The Shaker Village. The meals at the trustees table were excellent,... got to enjoy the live music on the lawn, we found the buildings and displays quite interesting, and you are never far from anAdirondack chair under a shade tree. Read more

Our family hosted our grandfathers 91st birthday here. They were extremely accommodating to our party of 16 on a Sunday... afternoon. They food was delicious and we had an amazing day exploring the property. We were very pleased to see that they haveexpanded the gardens and places to enjoy live music.
