We were directed here by a local, and it was underwhelming. I think their heart is in the right place serving their community,... and the food was ok. Parking is not great and it does not have much ambiance for the ?charming lunch site? we were told about,?by the lake? and quaint red bricked buildings. It is not on the way to anything (we stopped in after our appt. at 5 starWellscroft Fence...) so I definitely would not do this again. Read more
Last time I was in was 42 years ago and like everything else it has changed. My opinion only... It's ok but I won't return.... Didn't feel like waiting on line for the food and unless you live in town and need a few quick groceries nothing held myinterest. To many tourist the day we went to stand in line. Read more
I'm fine with paying $7 for grilled cheese sandwich especially when it's in a lovely town like Harrisville but when it's grilled... black on both sides and someone who looks like the owner does a double take at it and wraps it anyway and proudly delivers it tothe register you wonder if things might be going down hill a bit. Delicious homemade food. Our hostess was sweet and kind, an excellent cook and gave us a lovely feeling of warmth and welcome.
