The absolute best! The address listed here on Google maps is kinda misleading, El Primo is a food truck parked next to this... building. We got the tacos, $2 each! And a burrito supreme, huge! Everything was delicious ???? ????. Highest ofrecommendations! Read more

?Delicious food at amazing price! Should be in the ice skating building. High quality take out containers. I would consider more... authentic than El Charro.? - my husband, who never leaves reviews. And I agree. Read more

Street, delicious, awesome tacos!! Hole in the wall and cash only that is turning out some tasty tacos and burritos. The asada... and al pastor are their best meats. The day after I eat here that is all I am thinking about. They have a salsa bar with salsas(of course), picked onion and Serrano peppers, and radishes. They also have grilled onions and jalapeños if you ask the cookhe'll hook you up. As I am writing this I am getting hungry for their tacos. I will go there for lunch today!! As I said, cashonly. They have one handicap parking space and two regular spaces. But you can park in the liquor store behind it. See youthere! Read more

This is the ONLY remotely authentic place I have seen thus far in Harrisonburg. I lived in Chicago for many decades, so I have... a pretty strong opinion on what makes Mexican food authentic (as opposed to "Texmex"). Granted, Chicago generally had Michwicanstyle, and there are many different regions. However, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. The tortillas are soft and delicious. The salsaspack a punch and have deep notes (bright, smokey, etc). The meats are tender and succulent. And, of course, the simplegarnishes of onions and cilantro prevail (as they should). Oh, and the horchata is some of the best I've ever had. Throw in theawesome salsa (and garnish) bar and you have an easy favorite place. Did I mention the prices are extremely affordable? Simplyput, if you don't like this place -- so be it. But, you probably just don't like authentic Mexican food. Read more
