Rank bad food. The vegetable soup was as thick as gravy. The Tomato Soup was absolutely sour. The paneer tikka which we ordered... as medium spicy was spicy Hot. It was actually just paneer sautéed in Red chilli powder and not any marination ! Horribleexperience. Read more

I was I had the same great experience that all the other reviewers had. I ordered food at 12:45, for a 1:03 pick up (time they... provided), didn’t get the food til 1:35. I paid online or I would of left. Was just driving through town and wanted to trythis place after the great reviews and that held me up considerably. What made it worse was the food was just ok. They had areally nice looking buffet going so I guess they are not prioritizing take out at the moment. The restaurant itself wasbeautiful. Service was horrible. Food was just ok. We were in downtown Harrisonburg looking for food... Happened to find Taj of India; loving Indian food we decided to give it a... try... Very pleasantly surprised as Indian can a be a little hit & miss, especially outside of large cities. Service was timely& the food excellent. We had a very tasty dinner. Excellent service with a smile. Loved the furnishings and vibe. We have eaten many Indian Curries... this one was excellent. As others mention we loved the Woodpecker beer. Highly recommend dine in or take out. Wish we livedcloser this would be our go to restaurant. Read more
