Really enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich I ordered for lunch. There was a big portion of meatloaf on the bun where I could taste it... all on its own, and boy was it delicious! I now understand why this is a popular brunch spot on the weekends. I hope to comeback for brunch and try one of the tasty cocktails on the menu. Read more

My sisters treated me to a birthday breakfast at Magpie! I arrived at 0810 and the line started forming around 0830. The menu... for the day was phenomenal and it changes daily! Quietly one of the best restaurants in Va- incredible food and baked goods. You can choose from a lot of the diner classics,... although elevated in quality, but you can also get delicious salads. Would be a once/week spot for me if I lived inHarrisonburg. Read more

Such an amazing concept for a restaurant, and on top of it, the food is amazing! Very sustainable concept, modern chic vibe with... delicious options for breakfast and lunch. I enjoyed the chicken shawarma salad on this occasion and became obsessed! Freshingredients, great combination of flavors, and great portions for the price. Nice local option for breakfast. Nicely done unique fare. Unfortunately, not large enough for crowds. Expect to wait an hour at... peak times. If you just want a pastry, go to its bakery next door. Read more
Chorizo bowl. SO GOOD! Went back the next day for another one :) Don?t skip out and get a second egg. They?re perfectly runny... over the potatoes and chorizo. And ask for extra green sauce. Probably one of the best chocolate chip cookies I?ve had too! Read more
