This place has the best food. You can tell it?s homemade and cooked to order. My steak last night was a little under (rare... instead of medium rare) but it was still delicious. Had the meat omelette this morning for breakfast. Could use a little morecheese in the omelette, but overall the waitresses and waiter were super friendly. Will absolutely be back any chance I get. Self seated, took about 10 minutes for waitress to come over with menus and take our drink order. Got the drinks and again... waited and waited. Finally a younger dark haired lady came over and took our order. It took us over 45 minutes to get our food.I was ready to walk out by then. Food came and was good except cold mac n cheese ????. It took a total of over an hour to placeour order wait and wait for the food then eat. A couple came in as we were finishing and I timed them.. it took a total of 17minutes for them to order get their food start eating. We just got the bill by then. Guess they're regulars and we were aninconvenience. It says it's a diner and the truck stop is connected to it. My advice order hours ahead if you plan on stopping.They weren't busy at all but the waitress said they had alot of togo orders. Who knows?? Either way as expensive as life is nowa paying customer shouldn't be treated like they're bothering someone by coming to eat. The older blonde needs to learn peopleskills. Read more
Good food. My son got kids pancakes (3) and they were adult size pancakes, wife got a whole half catfish (we were surprised, was... expecting little fillets), and my youngest we got him scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. The food was food, the only issuewas that my hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy were cold. It was still good, but clearly mine was made first and itsat until the rest was ready. Stopped here for breakfast while traveling for vacation. We had stopped just up the road at Cracker Barrel and left there mad... because during a major travel time, they had no help to the point that the wait was very long and they were not really thatbusy! We had no wait time at Joe?s! Restaurant was clean and reasonably maintained. Our waitress Ashly did a great job as shewas there when we needed without him wrong and stopping at our table constantly, which I can?t stand! The food was good and didnot take long to get. It was also good quality and was served quite hot as it should be! Pricing was good and competitive withmost places. One point I need to make is to bring attention to the fact that when dining here, you are supporting two loa elbusinesses since they use local meats for the food that they serve! See pictures!
