It was pretty good The wings are really good They had wings unlike the gobbler grill in timberville that did not have wings. The... owner of the gobler grill said he couldn't get wings in I asked this guy if he had a problem with getting wings in was there ashortage and he left and said no. They were out of wings. have ordered here a few times and the food is good but they literally never get my order right. i ordered a quesadilla and... mozzarella stick with sour cream for the quesadilla and marinara for the mozzarella sticks.. i did not receive either sour creamor marinara sauce but instead just barbecue sauce? in what way does that correlate to anything i ordered Read more
I definitely could have made the same food at home! My burger was made completely wrong, loaded fries were supposed to come with... pork belly well clearly you can see they didn't, my daughters mozzarella sticks tasted like cardboard. Everything wasflavorless. I hope you guys step up your game, I really wanted to like it. Read more
I have tried going to dukes multiple times on various days of the week, but no matter the time/day, how many people I am with,... or how quietly I wait in line, I?m never let in. They say it?ll be a ?10-20 minute wait? but we?ve waited an upwards of 45minutes before only for everyone behind us to be let in instead. The ?bouncers? are EXTREMELY rude; they yell/cuss at customerswho are doing no wrong. Pretty sure they make bets on how long the people are willing to wait outside..They all smoke on thefront patio in the direction of the people waiting to get in. I?m really disappointed in this because the need for bars inHarrisonburg is high, so I?m sure they?ll stay in business. Great staff, wonderful vibe and food is authentic Cuban with American twist. Prices are reasonable making it easy to keep the... bill under 30 for two. Kept the warmth of the Artful Dodger while creating something fresh and exciting. Love the decor and atmosphere. All the old phones and TV are reminiscent of Cuba. The food was good. Chicken Empanadas were... excellent and so are the fried plantains. The Mojito Shrimp were a little over cooked but the Lime crema was great. The SalsaCubana Bowl with shrimp was really good with the Avacado. Again shrimp was a little over cooked. They have roofied people in the past. My friend was attacked this past weekend by security, who wasn?t wearing a security shirt... which is illegal in the state of VA. Choked and tackled to the ground. Called and they said my friend was aggressive (did nothappen). Will not give the security footage at all. If negative stars was an option I would put that. Read more
