As a restaurant, Neighbor's mill is good. The sandwiches are delicious, always fresh made, cookies are top notch, and the... service is great. But the thing that makes this place a weekly visit for me is their bread. It sounds crazy to suggest a specialtrip to a place just for a loaf of bread, but this is the best bread you've ever eaten, and is worth it. Get the triple cheesegarlic, or the neighbor's best with all the seeds and grains you could ever want. It isn't cheap, but it's made with only thebest ingredients... and totally worth it. Read more
A favorite in the area!! We looked forward to coming here since we used to frequent it when we lived in the area. Great food,... self-serve style, but very homey. Still loved the French Dip on pepperbread, with pepper Jack cheese. Delicious! Great coffeesand desserts. Room to accommodate a larger family. Happy all around! Read more
We arrived at 12:20 and the place was packed but not full. There was a line waiting to order but it moved quickly. Our... sandwiches were both hot and arrived at out table quite quickly. Both sandwiches were served hot and they were delicious. I alsotried the "Samoa" pie that tasted exactly like the Samoa cookies from the girl scouts. We will definitely stop by next time intown. Passing through, and thoroughly enjoyed this place. Sandwiches were nice, the bread was nice and fresh. Tried my wife?s pork... bowl and I actually wish I would have picked that!!! Lol. Everything was very clean including the bathrooms. I like the indoorand outdoor seating options. Super busy place even for mid afternoon on a weekday. We didn?t get to try the pastries. Read more
Oh my?what is not to love about this place! The smell of fresh baked bread and goodies, fresh Sandwiches and salad as well as... other entrées. The mill with its ambiance. I?ve never had the opportunity to stop until today and I?m so glad I did! I had the turkey chipotle on cheese bread-... delicious!!! I also bought a loaf of the Neighbor?s Best loaf. It is wonderful and hearty!!! Will definitely make it a regularstop! Read more
Staff is rude and pretentious. They really don't care if you're happy or not. There was no ice in the machine, had to ask twice... before anyone filled it. The self serve coffees were empty. The only one that had any coffee was cold. The tea was empty. Myselfand one other customer were waiting for refills, finally gave up. Staff is too busy talking with each other to acknowledgethere's a problem.. By the time they got around to it we were finished eating. I noticed they had a nice carrot cake on displaywith only a few slices out of it, so I figured it was fresh and decided to order a piece. The girl at the counter was busychatting with a friend but finally the friend noticed I was trying to order and she stepped back. I ordered the cake and anothergirl went to the back and brought out a slice with a big hunk missing from the top. I said it looks like someone took a bitefrom this piece. She didn't say anything. I felt the plate and it was ice cold. It obviously had been frozen . I asked if theyhad another piece and they said , "No, that's the last piece of carrot cake." So , I told her to keep it. I'm looking at afresh carrot cake right in front of me! And, I was told they didn't have anymore????? I won't go back here again. There'sbetter places with much better service.
