Reviews for Everest Spice in Harrisburg, PA
It was my first time visiting the restaurant. While my boyfriend and my sister got their food and finished eating, I was still... there waiting for my dumplings to arrive. When I went to ask the waitress, she told me the dumplings were never put in fororder. So I told her, I would like to do a take out order. I payed with cash. But, she didn?t give me back the exact change. Itwas only few cents but it was not ok that she didn?t gave it back to me. I expect exact change to be return. Just because it?s aNepali restaurant and Nepali customers might not care about the cents, that doesn?t mean they should ignore it and not give it.That?s not how business works in America in general. ( This also happen again when I had visited the Nepali store few blocksdown after eating at the restaurant.) The food was decent and the dumplings were bit salty. I don?t think I would want to goback to Everest Spice. I would not recommend this restaurant for their bad customer service. Read more
Delicious unique cuisine. We've been getting take out during covid. Not oily and geasy food. It's really wonderful tasting
Not good customer service. We called and said we were coming 9 people and nothing was ready not even the tables. There weren?t... even like 5 other people besides us and still nothing ready nor were the waiters friendly. Not too good place to sit and dinein. Just if it?s take out. Not at all never doing dine in again. Everything we ate was too salty. We ordered for mild and it wassuper spicy. Read more
Great food but had bad experience with slowest service. Definitely try it once for sure. We were here for lunch, unfortunately... there were very few options available at that time. Most curries were not available. However, we liked the food. Place was nicetoo. Read more
Absolutely the best away from home dining experience I have had in some time. First time for Nepali food. Amazing! Warning... not like typical American restaurants. Food is brought to the table when it is done...not at the same time. My version of hotwas the their medium....which the waitress was kind enough to explain. Don't let the location fool you...delicious. Portionswere HUGE! Go try something new and be amazed. Read more
Highly recommend this place!!! The food is always excellent. We go at least once a week and are never disappointed with... anything. The service is always good and it?s a cute little place. One word of caution: use the word ?hot? very cautiously ifyou are sensitive to spicy food. I always order mild and I still think some stuff is spicy. Read more
First time eating Nepalese food and what an experience!!! We are traveling cross-country and decided to stop in. The owner was... very kind and extremely courteous. We tried numerous dishes new to us and enjoyed every one. Hardest part was deciding what weliked most! Highly recommend to anyone that is slightly adventurous and looking for delicious food! I don?t usually ratesomething as 5 star but this place deserves six!!!! Read more
The food is not good tasting. If you go 2 miles north from the place there is a place called Mom's Momo and they serve way... better Nepali authentic food than Everest Spice. Read more
