Got two of the fig pizzas which have a fig marmalade, prosciutto di parma, and gorgonzola. The combination of tastes made this... come across as very woody in flavor. The tomato & basil bruschetta which is chopped tomato, basil, red onions, balsamicvinaigrette, chopped garlic, and olive oil. Very fresh, but the portions were quite petite which I should have expected from astuzzichini. The chocolate covered Neapolitan tartufo had a cherry at the center which was a nice surprise although I feel alittle remorse for not just going with a cannoli. Read more
I traveled to Harrisburg for business and found myself on restaurant row. Bacco pizzeria and wine bar is located on the corner... in a beautifully grand, 200 year old building. Upon entering we were immediately seated and given waters. The decor andambiance are relaxing, modern, and inviting. The gigantic wall behind the bar is easy on the eyes, as were the staffmembers. Our waitress was very professional, accommodating, helpful, and offered perfect suggestions. She was working quicklytaking care of her guests while simultaneously assisting her coworkers clear and clean tables, running food and drinks, and shedid it with Grace. I can not remember her name, but she has maroonish colored hair, and lipstick to match. We ordered aMargarita pizza, chicken parm, chicken picatta, and Gnocci Carbonara. All of the menu items were tastey, filling, and presentednicely. The gnocchi carbonara was delectable. We drank espresso martinis and they were PERFECT! Kudos to the bar manager forstepping in and making them for us because the bar and service bar were busy!!! He was a very kind, handsome young gentlemandressed well, with glasses, and brown curly hair. The entire time we were there he was working hard helping guests and his staffalike. Fantastic experience, food, and drink! We had the Neve, Margherita, Buffalo, and Pesto pizzas and all were amazing. The pizzas... were crispy but soft inside the crust. We ordered dessert, the cannoli, tiramisu, and chocolate decadence cake...all beautifuland delicious! Our server was super sweet and felt like a friend by the end of our meal. We cannot wait to eat here again as ithas become an instant favorite. Read more

Beautiful small intimate restaurant with fresh, authentic, Italian cuisine with a real home/upscale feel. You can go here for a... beautiful intimate date night on a busy Fri nite or like us enjoy a parm pizza with fresh mussels drenched in a light red sauce,followed by a slice of delicious carrot cake, and OH don't for get about the ice cold Italian beer on tap! So the place looks good however the food and cleanliness not so much. Saw a couple of flies on the bar counter and was able to... even capture a picture of it. Ordered an eggplant parmigiana from the pasta menu. It was dry and skimpy on the eggplant. Thepasta was in abundance but alas it lacked taste. Let?s just say you can eat better at Olive Garden. Went here for the first time on 11/12. The restaurant was smaller than we expected but upscale. Our server was very nice and... friendly. My wife order the Caesar salad, which she said was excellent and that they had really great dressing. I order thechicken Parm, it was cooked perfectly and was amazing. I was a little shocked that they served as little pasta with as they didbut the sauce was very good. The best part of the meal was the dessert. Good food at the going price. Service was good. Even gave us time to enjoy our salad and appetizer before the main dish arrived... at our table. Very noisy though, my wife and I found it difficult to talk to one another. Read more
