My friend and I came to eat and we where seated in the bar area which was dark with very little lighting the lady that seated us... was very nice after we where seated it took forever for our waiter to come to our table and when he did he gave the impressionhe didn't want to be there he was very short with us and took forever just to get one drink ( coke) and then it took forever forhim to come back and take our order very unfriendly once we got our order it looked like it was just dumped on the plate thetemp was good but the the taste was nasty, you could taste the peanut oil it about made me sick. Once we did get our order wesaw our waiter once at our table but after that we didn't see him, we got ready to leave and waited a waited had to ask someoneelse to get him so we could get our check and then was going to pay at the front and was told that we had to pay at the tablewhich isn't right we should of been able to pay at the front. Our waiter was very unfriendly. We will not be back. Therestaurant was very dark and the dacor was old and looked like it needed a good cleaning the only thing I can say that was goodwas the lady that sat us at our table. We understand that they are understaffed but most restaurants are but their employees arefriendly no matter what there was no excuse for our waiters attitude and actions. Read more

Made a wrong turn off I-40 and ran into this place. BEST wrong turn I ever made! Homemade salsa is excellent! Burrito Don Lope... (chicken) was out of this world! First impressions of mine are of a tired, worn out restaurant in need of cleaning up and remodeling. Wait staff was friendly... but slow with delivery and attentiveness. Food was average but nothing spectacular. Portion size was good and prices werereasonable. Ordered shrimp tacos but was served fish tacos. Had to wait for a redo. Wife had the chicken fajitas. We got to the restaurant at about 4pm. They did not appear busy. We were seated quickly but waited a little longer than usual to... be waited on. I had a hard time understanding the waiter because he talked fast. His accent had a little to do with it too. Thenwe waited to give our order. Chips and salsa came out quickly. Then we waited, and waited, and waited for food. An employeewalked by (not the waiter) and we asked what the delay was. We came at shift change, he said. After waiting some more, I foundour waiter, who apologized in a hurried manner without offering a consolation (how about more chips and salsa? Nope). Finally, the food came. My taco salad was cold and soggy. It had obviously sat for awhile. I decided I had had enough and found themanager. I explained what happened and asked for a discount. She was gracious and took 25% off the bill. Here is myrecommendation to this restaurant. Either get rid of the waiter or make sure he gets some serious training in customer service.I won't go back. My wife and I had dinner at Los Primos after a lengthy absence and were totally impressed. The interior has been remodeled and... represents quite the upgrade. I ordered two meals, anticipating small and poorly prepared portions. Instead, the portions arevery large and very attractively presented as well as delicious. Each of our three dishes easily contained the volume for atleast two meals. Did I mention the exceptional tastes? Chips are prepared fresh, the perfect complement to an outstandingsalsa. The staff were pleasant, attentive, prompt and personal while modeling a professionalism unusual in many eateries. HaveI said the food was delicious? Do not take my word for it but treat yourself to Los Primos. Just my opinion that the entireLos Primos experience ranks a conservative 4.8 out of 5 (including the most reasonable prices for quality unusual). We willreturn! David and Susan Read more
