I?ve been coming here for almost seven years. The staff knew me and the owners son and cousin who run the place knew that I... recommend a lot of coworkers from a local company(apparently in the conversation we had on the phone he never asked me to dothat although in the last seven years I must have recommended over fifty customers ).I had made a purchase of full cheese piewith red onions and feta cheese on top. When my wife got home with the pie I noticed they made the same mistake they have madeonce before and instead of a full cheese pie with red sauce and half with onions and feta on top they made half of the pie withonly feta and onions no red sauce. When I called to see if they where going to do the right thing and make the pie the correctway or the way I wanted it originally the owners son told me the best he could do is give me a $5 credit for the future and thathe couldn?t make a new pie on the house because it cost him $19 for that pie (which we all know that?s not how much it cost himbut how much they charged). He had a little bit of an attitude and did not want to admit he made the wrong pie instead suggestedhe teach me how to order the pie the correct way in the future. If it was a my first time coming here or it was there firsttime messing up, it might of been aceptable. Being that I used spend about $150 or more a month on lunch and dinner I thinkremaking the pie would have been the right thing to do. I am a big believer in customer service and this was a good example ofpoor customer service. This happened about two months ago and I have not made any orders or have gone there and instead havegone to the other local pizzerias in the area who are giving me great customer service. Don?t get me wrong marinas makes greatpizza and if it wasn?t for these incidents i would highly recommend them but because of there poor customer service is thereason I decided to give them one star. Great spot. Victoria was very fast and attentive! Food could be worked on. Both of our pastas were not salty the marinara sauce... seemed tasteless. But over all it was fast and decent price. I would still give them another shot and try out their pizza andother pastas Read more
Over the years, Marina?s Pizza has been a friendly, welcoming establishment that has made my life so much happier. It has a... great dynamic between its workers and it rarely takes longer than five to ten minutes for a slice of their delicious pizza to beprepared. The pizza is pretty good but the crust is a bit spongy for my taste. The cheese tortellini with vodka sauce was delicious but I... didn't like the fettuccine Alfredo as much. However, the other two people at dinner loved it and weren't as fond of thetortellini. Everyone has their own preferences, but for sure the service was fast and friendly. Read more
Great place, highly recommend! Just found Marina's last week, and we've been back 3 times since. Great pizza by the slice or by... the pie, good salads, friendly staff. Update: we've been back in so many times, and the food is always awesome every time.Tried more slices, more pies, appetizers, dishes, and everything has been awesome. Highly, highly recommend! The pizza here is good, probably one of the best you can get up here. But the owner and the guys that work there are obnoxious... and rude. They have this attitude like, yeah we know we got good pizza so order, shut up and eat it. It's unfortunate becausethey're open late and their food is decent, which is a difficult find up here. I find myself torn every time I go to this place.Happy with my yum yum but feeling bad for being treated like an unwanted stepchild. It's a neighborhood place where people go,some get treated better than others I have noticed. So if you're in the neighborhood and you're a newbie, or maybe they justdon't care for the look of you, be prepared to be treated not so nice. They obviously can act this way since business is good.
