I ordered an all beef botana from this location and I came away disappointed. First the good. The fajitas, cheese, beans and... cheese on the botana platter were delicious. The service was speedy and friendly. Now on to the bad. I chose flour tortillasfor my order and they were TERRIBLE. The actual taste was bland as I?ve ever had. Furthermore as soon as they cooled, (which wasalmost immediately upon being removed from the aluminum they were packed in) they became hard and almost impossible to chew. Thebeans and rice were just ok and the portions were poor. The price was exorbitant! Do not expect to eat here cheaply. Worst yet,my order was not secured properly. The salsa they packed fell out of one of the bags they packed almost immediately upon beingplaced in my vehicle. I really wanted to fall in love with this restaurant all over again. I came from out of State and hadn?thad a meal from Los Asados in perhaps a decade. I was very much looking forward to eating here again. So much so, that as soonas my flight arrived, this was the very first place I visited upon arriving in Harlingen. This latest visit has soured me onever coming back again. And that?s a shame because this restaurant used to be great in it?s heyday. Those days seemingly havelong since passed. Read more

Went in kinda late. Got greeted,seated,my beautiful, delicious drink was delivered in no time at all. Food came out shortly... after. Great service.. Los Asados never let's me down. The drive from Brownsville is always worth it. This is always my go torestraunt in Harlingen no matter if I'm dining alone or with friends and family. Always a great dining experience over theyears! Food AND service has gone way down ! ???? Food was cold, fajitas burnt, and my cheese enchiladas tasted like plastic. Never will... come here again for Mexican food. Save your money, you're Better off going to Las Vegas Cafe or Tejano Grill. Read more
Thanks to the game starting across the street, we were lucky to get a table on a very busy Friday night. There may have been 6... tables available when we walked in. We were greeted right away and our server brought us some chips and salsa that were verytasty. We ordered and the food came out in about 15 to 20 minutes, it was also very tasty. The staff was very nice and broughtby refills on our non-alcoholic beverages. I would visit again. Read more
