Reviews for The Acorn Restaurant in Harlem, GA
Parking lot is a mess. Walked in the door and several "gasps" were heard as we were told that no one is allowed inside due to a... bridal shower going on. No signs or anything as a warning. Read more

Went here one morning for breakfast everything was really good ,good customer service, then we went back one evening got a menu... the menu said 13 something for a steak, so I got the steak and the steak was no good full of fat and just tasted awful, and thevegetables were very plain you could tell I didn't eat anything off my plate... I got up to the register and my steak rang upfor $30 it really made me mad because they gave me a menu that said $13 for the steak and then got up to the register and it was$30 just for the steak, so definitely ask before u go off what the menu says... I was very disappointed and angry because it wasnot worth the money at all... I wouldn't even pay that amount at my favorite restaurant for a steak,That changed my mind aboutthis place. And I will not go back.. Read more

I came in for breakfast early on a Saturday morning. The restaurant is part of a B&B, Red Oak Manor, and it fits with that kind... of vibe. I was the only diner and it was very quiet in there until someone eventually turned on the TV. The staff was veryfriendly and when I ordered the lady taking the order let me know the biscuits might take an extra couple of minutes. Managing expectations, good move since I could have pivoted to toast if time was an issue. Where they lost a star was when myomelet came out without the grits and I was told they weren't quite ready. After a wait I was offered potatoes which I decidedto go with but she went ahead and brought the grits and explained the consistency wasn't what they liked. They were soupy. Good quality and tasty, but soupy. The omelet on the other hand was great. I got the Acorn Omelet that had onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon pieces, white cheddar and a generous portion of pork tenderloin chunks. Very nice omelet. I feel like thereis 5 star potential here and definitely recommend trying them. Oh yeah and the price can't be beat. Read more
