This place reminded of my mother’s cooking and true Caribbean food! Our server Natasha was amazing! She described each meal... to us and helped us make the ideal selection. We had the tamarind juice, red snapper, fried pork mofongo, fried yuca, friedplantain, 3 empanadillas (shrimp, fish & beef) & the coconut flan for dessert. If you’re ever in Harker Heights don’t sleepon this place and if you want delivery or pick up they do that also! The place is clean and welcoming, they also have an outsidedining section. Read more

Owned and operated by ex-military family, who has passion for food and heart for people. The service was exquisite and the food... was fresh. If you like some gold ceviche, look no further. This is your spot. Fresh, healthy and nutritious. For entree, weshared crab mix boil, which was also very tasty. We had our puppy with us and he was perfectly comfortable in the patio as well.When/if we are in the area, we are definitely coming back here! This place was a breath of fresh air amongst all the chainrestaurants with salty, processed food. Read more

Nice cozy restaurant, server was very attentive and friendly, patient explaining the menu. Food was very delicious, I ate a... Conch Turnover, made at the moment, conch was tender with a good sauce. And shared a Mofongo (mashed green plantains) withskirt steak, love the favor with garlic, texture the presentation. Ceviche was very good. Tamarind juice was delicious aswell. 100% recommended! I forgot to take a pic of the appetizer, stuffed plantains but we couldn’t wait to dig in, the food is that amazing! Fresh and... tasty, perfectly cooked and seasoned! The plating is beautiful! This little hidden gem is our new favorite! I’ve heard so muchgood stuff about this place so when my hubby and I got back from the lake I convinced him to stop. It’s small and cozy andbeautifully decorated and SPOTLESS clean! The bathroom, the floors, and even the baseboards ( I always look at those) weresqueaky clean! This is all family in there! And they take immense pride in their restaurant! Mom and Dad do all the cooking andthey’re so passionate about their food that they’ve even attended culinary school after the husband retired from thearmy! Their daughter is the sweetest and most attentive server! I’ve seen a couple of negative reviews about not having crablegs or too pricey blah blah the reason they don’t have them is that they shop fresh!!! Never frozen!!! And if you try and buyall those items fresh yourself and cook them yourself you’d probably realize that there is hardly any profit in it! Freshseafood is expensive! Read more

Off the beaten path a bit, you really wouldn't expect to find what this hidden gem has to offer... Caribbean inspired dishes... served up in a repurposed frame house located across FM 2410 from Harker Heights Community Park. Most important, however is theobvious pride taken to plate astonishingly attractive entrees that taste every bit as remarkable as they look. You'd beextremely satisfied to be served these dishes in a white tablecloth restaurant on the San Diego waterfront at a much higherprice. Instead, you get a superior dinner at a seafood shack price ! Count yourself as extremely lucky to have found thisdelicious little cafe. It might not stay small for long if they continue to wow with their quality offerings. Go... get some andsee. Read more
