I drove 3.5 hrs to stop by and no regrets. Hoping to stop by monthly to get my fill ha. We got a few pastries, a loaf of bread,... some cheesecake (of course), deli meat, Fleischkäse, and a few other goodies! All was yummy. Read more

I went there for the first time last week. They had some good items in this shelf crowded store. The German Farmers bread and... poppy seed Kaiser rolls were good. You can buy German style pickles there and practice your German with the staff. But the threedifferent slices of cakes, for $15 total, all had the taste of freezer burn. One was so bad I spit it out and threw the restaway. Though raised on German food, it wasn't necessary to know that the cakes were bad. Hopefully it was a one time thing butI'm never buying pastries there again. Read more

I've been looking for real cream puff pastries for about 20 years-they make them. Oh they were so good. Everything in their case... looked and smelled mouth watering. They have a large selection of European candies and chocolates and foods from the region. It's definitely worth the trip. Read more

We have been stopping in for years, only wish we lived closer to come by more often. Highly recommend the brötchen, pretzels,... and of course the German bread. You can't go wrong with any of the fresh pastries or dessert, it's all delicious. If I close myeyes I feel like a kid at the Bäckerei with my Oma. Highly recommend coming in, just be patient as it is usually quite busyand there are a lot of regulars. Read more

I love to support our local businesses. Since COVID, it seems like there are fewer locally family owned businesses. This place... is GREAT! Super friendly, and has a variety of breads/pastries (Authentic). Great shortbread cookies with jam! Pretzels weretasty. Will come again. Go early... they sell out quickly. Read more

Maximum authenticity- everyone was speaking in German. Bee sting cake is phenomenal. Wally from Opa's sent me here.
