Menu for Ranch House Grill in Hardin, MT

When we got there, no one was around. We were nervous but stayed. They had several signs saying, "Sorry, we are out of all... steaks." None of us wanted steaks, but...interesting. Our server explained that they had just started opening on Sundays. Theyhad a busy day and hadn't ordered enough food. I'm glad we stayed. A wonderful meal! Very friendly staff and great service! My family was passing through while on vacation and this place was... recommended to us. The Ranch House Club was quite delicious along with the Ham and Cheese Melt, and the Chicken Fried Steak.Everything was made exactly as we ordered it and was served in a timely manor. This has to be the worst Restaurant ever. My girlfriend ordered the steak salad with no onions and a orange juice. She gets a... glass of oj half full and the server says we ran out,the salad had onions and the steak was cooked like a piece of leather. Iordered a blue burger and got a hockey puck with day old bacon and some cold blue cheese. no lettuce,tomatoes or anything. bythe way, our order was at our table in about five minutes from the time we ordered it.It is obvious that the steak and burgerwere cooked before we even ordered it. When I tried to send it back the sloppy server dude made some kind of issue of If Iwanted the fries, he took the burger back and brought me the same dirty basket with the same fries and told me to hurry up andeat them before they got cold. I told him never mind and just cancel my order and he said go ahead and just get on down theroad. I told him I was going to complain to the owner and he said the owner is my ex wife. I ordered food here tonight and the shakes were watered down by the time i got home and i only live a few blocks away. They... tasted funky (greasy) and the strawberry banana was missing the strawberry. The soup was not homemade that was obvious it wasfrom a can. I would love to know what food is actually homemade and not poured from a can. The first time i went in there theservice was terrible it took 45 minutes to get my food and i got my main dish before my appetizer so i thought I'd try take outbut don't think I'll do it again. Wish the owners around here took more pride in their business and hired people for their workethic and not their last name or because their related. New review: I am updating my review...the rude server is gone. Everything has been great..been there 2x and very happy. Total... opposite experience than my first two visits. May eat here every Monday.... before practice. Older review: 2 stars First timewaited for ever felt like we were ignored because some people were waited on hand and foot. Both times I felt like we were aninconvenience to the server. Watered only once. I thought we would give it another try, but the same server is awful. I wasnot told about the specials and then when I ask questions about the menu...I just stopped, because I caused so much pain to theserver.
