Horrible troll of a woman behind the counter yelling at customers. After she refused to put more than two tomatoes on someone's... salad or even to cut the slices in half claiming it is a SC DHEC directive, many of us standing in line decided to go elsewhere.Number of tomato slices & cutting them into smaller pieces has nothing to do with SC DHEC directives. The old woman was justlazy and rude to customers. When the customer she was harassing said she has eaten in Subways in Columbia SC, and never wastreated this way the woman accused her of lying about living in Columbia because she had a New Orleans Tshirt on??? Then sherefused to change her gloves being the woman had Celiacs and didn't want cross contamination, and she would not put dressing onthe woman's salad, claiming all dressings had to be applied by the customer from a package, and all they had was diet dressing.Personally, just seeing the brown looking lettuce turned me off! Go elsewhere! I told the customer being harassed to report thisto Subway and SC DHEC. I would not eat anything from this location! Read more
Rude staff. Told me you can't have more than 2 tomato slices on a veggie salad and claimed it was state law not to cut them up!... The older woman at the counter was rude and nasty. The woman behind the Subway counter at 1pm 2/14 was pushing steel bins around as we waited patiently. It felt good to stand... after our long car ride. She said I lied when I said I couldn?t hear her. ?? From then on it went downhill with an attitude andthen she even pretended like she didn?t hear a requested ingredient ?with a stare down, no less. It was surreal but I knowSubway has standards and she simply was choosing not to represent. As we ate, there was a loud conversation (for me to hear)with another employee about the medical brace I was wearing. It was both a hurtful and negative experience. For sure. (Edit: Aswe left we realized the woman who made the loudest repeated remarks about my brace was actually the checkout person and maybethe store manager. How?s that for professionalism??? Wow.Just wow. Think twice before you go down this dark hole.) I barely atemy lunch because I was so uncomfortable. CUSTOMER REP RESPONDED: Brandi Sutton (District Manager Subway) used this as ateaching moment.She reviewed surveillance tapes with her staff and notified the gas station employee?s boss about inappropriatebehavior and poor customer service. Ordered ahead on the app and my sub was waiting for me when I arrived! Friendly folks and the sandwich was very well made.
Rude staff. Doesn't look too clean either. This place lacks good responsible employee to serve.
We stopped by to grab some sandwiches on our way to a baseball game. We noticed we were charged for a Baja Chicken sandwich when... we ordered a BLT. When I went back in to get a refund on what the difference would be, the woman at the counter told me that iswhat it cost. I explained that we didn't get chicken, that it was just bacon and lettuce. She got an attitude and reached intothe tip jar and grabbed a handful of change and handed me that instead of giving me the actual difference from the register. Outside appearances make this stoppable for a meal or restroom break. Inside conditions of the ladies restroom was deplorable.... It couldn?t have been cleaned in weeks and the SS toilet paper holder was taped to the wall due to damage, tissue paper andtrash everywhere, and the walls were even disgusting. This place needs a power washer!!! And a gallon of Clorox. Read more
Rude older woman behind the counter. Not going to argue about what I want on my sandwich. Asked for fresh lettuce, and she... refused to get a fresh bag. She literally was scraping old, wilted lettuce from the bottom of a bowl. It turned my stomach! Toldher she could keep it and left! Read more
