Both burritos were 95% BEANS AND RICE, 5% meat. Mondo burrito was bland and flavorless. I used to love this place. NEVER AGAIN.
The 2 stars are for service. Ordered online, told 11 mins. Arrived 20 mins later to discover they had not even started my order.... Server got quite the attitude, said I could either get a refund or just sit and wait. Mind you, there was only 1 customer in therestaurant, and the server was leaning against the counter. We LOVE Taco Del Mar! We LOVE their food! They're becoming harder and harder to find, so when we found this one, we were... all excited! But this one might be why they're closing. The food was so-so. Large servings, but not the tastiness weexpected. The real downer, though, was that the cook/manager YELLED at us when we entered! We, a group of four white women,did something he misunderstood. One of us spoke to him in Spanish, and a co-worker did, too. He was so upset that it tookboth of them and repetition to calm him. Read more
So YUMMY! I get the shredded beef tacos! The best meat in my opinion. I love all the toppings you can add for free. I always go... with cabbage instead of Lettuce try it you won't go back to Lettuce. The ladies that work here are so sweet and make great food.I eat here at least twice a week. I have visited many Taco Del Mars in Oregon and Washington and this location is by far superior in every way. I have been... coming to this location for several years since the other locations in Portland have closed. Despite other reviews, all fooditems are always fresh and hot, with the exception of items intentionally served cold (salsa and lobster). Out of hundreds ofvisits to TDM, this location has NOT ONCE disappointed (I can't say that for other TDM locations). Portions are generous, andyou can ask for additional toppings. The taste and freshness can't be beat. Staff are consistently courteous and responsive. Prices are great, but I try to come for the Daily Specials. I would never go to any other restaurant or fast food chain. Whytry "the rest" when you can have "the best?" Read more

I love to come here, but I have to post this negative review. I drove about 9 miles off my route to get food here. Arrived at... 8:15, everything says they close at 8:30. I would have understood to some degree if I had arrived at 8:25, but Businesses,especially quick bites shouldn?t be closing a whole 15 minutes early. Really frustrating. Read more
