Black Rock is the best coffee shop in Portland. The employees are great always friendly but never to the point of annoying like... other places I've been to. Listen when I come for coffee I need coffee not interaction and definitely not conversation I justwant coffee. Whoever thought the employers at coffee shops should engage the customer In conversation while waiting clearlydoesn't drink coffee!!! Ok off my soap box. This place used to be "our black rock" but after today 9/8/22, never again. The manager with the slick back black hair and blue... green eyes with a nasty attitude full of ego is not worth the trouble. I've never had such horrible service from this locationand to add insult to injury the manager and his employee laughed and mocked me as I walked away from this terrible service. Ihighly advise you to go a mile down the road to the one on 82nd near WinCo. I went there directly after to ask about policy'sand told them what happened and they helped me and delivered amazing coffee to boot! Bad employees can really ruin a place forpeople. Read more
