After five months of study, I’ve concluded this is the best bakery in Kitsap. Wide variety of items, consistent quality,... flavored impeccably, and the vibes are the best! Blown away every time, especially by the sandwiches. Read more

This was a great addition to the Hansville community! The two gals working were very friendly and welcoming. This cafe has a... farmhouse chic vibe and was very clean inside. They had special little touches like a chess / checkers table. We went in for abreakfast bite and coffee. They had a dozen or so pastries to choose from and loaves of bread for purchase. We ordered a 12ozlatte and a ham and cheese croissant. The latte was good, and the milk was steamed perfectly! The ham and cheese croissant wastasty. It was a bit more bread like and less flaky than I would expect a croissant to be, but I would definitely order it again! The flavors were balanced and delicious. I look forward to going back and trying other menu items! So glad to see a place likethis in Hansville! Read more

The overall appearance of the shop is cute, tidy and aesthetically pleasing. I appreciate being able to see almost all of the... bakery and how clean and well-maintained things appear. The displays for the food is pretty standard but the food happens to beart here. Everything is displayed in a normal way but the tarts and loaves of bread just stand out. The food is gorgeous.\nIdon\'t mind excessive amounts of things like salt. My mom said her cookie it was definitely salty. I pretty much devoured a biteof everything and loved it all. I had a ham and cheese roll that I literally could have died for. I have never ordered anythinglike it before and it was outside of my normal shopping pattern and I am so glad I purchased it.\nThe fruit tart withraspberries on top was very sour but in a really awesome way. It was not displeasing just different than what I expected. But ina really awesome way. It was not displeasing just different than what I expected.\nAs far as customer service I wasdisappointed. That is the only reason that they did not get five stars. The lady behind the counter was not friendly. I came inwith a smile (probably hard to tell with a mask on.)and asked her how she was doing and I did not receive a response. I figuredthat\'s okay she does not owe me pleasantries and is not required to be cheery. She really didn\'t say anything to me at all. Iordered about $40 worth of goods and she did not give me any kind of total. She just told me \"It\'s ready for your card.\" Nowagain this probably wouldn\'t hurt me so much except for the fact that she did not give me part of my order. I had to go backfor the shortcake cookies. Again I\'m pretty easygoing person but had I known what my total was I would have known if I hadactually been charged for them or not. If I had not been charged I would not have cared and would not have gone back. Butwithout Knowing if I was charged for these super expensive cookies I knew I needed to go back. I was charged and she Read more

The bakery is not good. I bought three items despite the fact that the older lady who served me there I\'m 99% sure had an issue... with my race or something because she was much nicer to all the customers in front of me and then when I went to order, she wasrude, and very short with me, and then seemed annoyed when I asked questions. It was my first time there and I was asking aboutthe different pastries because there were no names in front of them and she was just rude. Did not appreciate it.\nThe sandwichshop was great. It\'s a bit confusing because they have two doors open and people entering from different directions, so otherscut the line if they come in on the opposite door. (I suggest labeling one an exit only) I saw other patrons get very angry aspeople did this. The food was great! Loved the sandwich, wish it came with a drink for the price ($11) but it comes with chipsso I\'ll settle. Overall, I would have appreciated this place as a whole if the lady in the bakery on the left hand side wasn\'tso rude with me. If you\'re a minority, prepare to be stared at by other locals. I\'ve lived here for almost three years andthat has not changed. Read more
