Reviews for Warehouse Gourmet Bistro & Brewpub in Hanover, PA
Excellent seasonal menu, everything looks and tastes great. Cocktails were very good, beer selection is large and most of them... are pretty good. Read more
Was nice at first. I ordered my nice, ice cold pint of suds, and to break the ice, made an offhand comment about gas climbing... towards six bucks a gallon like it did in LA, and the barkeep/owner/whatever got sullen and serious and standoffish and said "wedon't discuss politics in here!"...seriously? "politics"? Oh well, I accidentally spilled my beer all over the bar. Won't begoing back. Read more
Had a great meal here. Had the screaming peacock porter that was very unique. Starts out very smokey and ends tasting like... licorice. Restaurant had a nice brew pub atmosphere that emphasized the food just as much as the beer. Read more
Loved the quinoa salad! Everytime I go to the Warehouse I leave happy! The food is fresh and the quality of the meals are great!
One of the best restaurants in Hanover. The crab soup, chicken tender salad, and espresso brownie are some of my favorite items,... but I?ve loved everything I?ve ever had here. Read more
First, let me say, the food was absolutely amazing!! They never disappoint in quality. Fresh homemade bread and fantastic... combination of ingredients for their dishes. I will put their quality high above Panera, however the price point is right thereif not a tad higher. So plan high quality dishes for a higher price. Read more
Absolutely fabulous food, ambiance, (we sat upstairs) our server, Marie was both bartender and server and was awesome. We will... definitely be returning! Warehouse Gourmet keep up the wonderful work! Read more
The food is outstanding! Fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients and an interesting, yet tasty menu. We had the crab grilled... cheese, split the crusted potato chip chicken tenders and a chocolate mousse cup. The alcoholic beverages looked amazing but wedidn?t have any. The chicken tenders were out of this world even though I usually don?t eat chicken. The handcrafted dippingsauces were special. I loved the honey mustard and bleu cheese. The crab grilled cheese was like crab dip between two slices ofhomemade sour dough bread. It was grilled perfectly. I took half home because it was that satisfying. The Cole slaw was madewith bleu cheese and I actually found a recipe to try making this at home. The chocolate mousse cup was tiny but super decadent.I am only disappointed we didn?t try this place sooner. I didn?t think Hanover was capable of a true gourmet Bistro experiencebut I was proved wrong. The service here was somewhat lacking. They were slammed busy so we waited awhile for our food at 8o?clock at night (not their fault). I wish they?d take reservations because it kind of dampened the experience, and I?msurprised the employees are allowed to sit out front in customer eyesight and smoke. A couple employees who brought our food andtook our orders (we didn?t really have just one server, we had three), smelled like ashtrays and this is just poor hygiene IMOat best. I did appreciate that they all worked their tails off and sat customers right away. Plenty of tables in this place, which is good because they don?t accept reservations. We were very hot sitting in here on a cold autumn evening. I noticedpeople taking their jackets, sweaters, etc off and heard other tables complaining about the lack of air. All in all, theambiance and service could be slightly better but the food is worth the trip! We will gladly return and try sitting upstairsnext time. Read more
