Where to begin. My In-Laws were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, so we utilized the separate room because we had... about 20 in our party. After getting settled in we ordered drinks about 25 minutes after we arrived. When the drinks did comeout, not everyone got theirs. They were delivered after the food order was taken. Now is when it gets interesting. Foodstarted to come out. I ordered the Ribeye medium well. My son also ordered the ribeye medium rare. My wife ordered the Ahituna steak. Mine was way OVER cooked. Tasted burnt. My sons was over cooked as well. His had a little pink. Not how amedium rare should look. My wife's tuna was cold in the middle and still a bright red color. I also ordered the French OnionSoup. Never had Cilantro in that before and now I know why. It doesn't belong. That was all that I tasted. Was NOT good atall. My brother and sister in law were still waiting for their meals when we finished ours. They did finally come out. Then wenoticed that my father in law still hasn't gotten his ribeye. He ordered it medium well. Some lady came out and stated that itwill be out shortly. She wasn't kidding, about three minutes later it was in front of him. Unfortunately it was RAW on theinside. It's like they cooked it for a minute on each side. Disgusting. The (manager) came out and said that they were sorryand that he can get whichever steak that he wanted and that he would not be charged. My father in law ask for another ribeye. "Sorry sir, we don't have anymore." What? How do run a business like this. Pathetic. The (manager) stated that we could eachget a dessert at no cost. I got the chocolate ice cream. It was the best thing that I ordered. My wife and son split the lavacake. Horrible cake. My daughter cooked better cakes then that with her EASY BAKE OVEN! A really great restaurant in south Hanover. The outdoor seating was amazing. The beer wall was cool and had some interesting... options. The food was good and about the same price if not a buck or two higher (but not crazy) than other area restaurants. Ourserver Morgan was exceptional. I took the family and it was a great night. We will definitely be back. Edit: We did go backwith my wife's family. Had a great time. Our server Danielle was great and really made an effort to accommodate a time crunch.The steak sandwich is probably the best sandwich I have had in years (maybe ever), all the food we had was excellent. Beautiful interior for the restaurant; they do offer outdoor seating. Unique to the area, self-pour beer wall. Food was great!... Huge portions too. Would definitely visit again. Read more
Another exceptional dinner at Highland T&T. My husband and I returned for a sunset dinner on the patio. We ordered the Highland... Burger and the Korean Shrimp BBQ Bowl to share. Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere!! My fiance and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have had a better... experience! They opened 5 days prior to our visit, and they were already a well-oiled machine. Service was prompt; food came outquickly and tasted delicious! We went on Day 4 of the restaurant being open. Of course we expected them to have some growing pains as they were just getting... going and they would have been understandable. There were none. It was perfect. Food came out quickly and everything was cookedto perfection. Tuna steak was cooked rare just as requested, ribeye was cooked medium rare and the chicken bacon ranchquesadillas were tasty. Servings are large. Brussel sprout appetizer is excellent. The fries were like Thrashers. Ambiance isreally nice. Beer wall was cool. The mixed drinks looked really good and I would try the orange crush on my next visit.
