First visit to this location. I was pleased that they offered outdoor dining - just be aware that it's first come first serve... and directly in that late afternoon/evening sun with no umbrellas. It was perfect on the evening we went. I found the entree(cod) but than my app (tomato w/ burrata) since the tomatoes were not ripe. My BF had rainbow sushi & Sausage pasta, loved themboth. Had a lovely experience at Alba on 53 this evening ! We had Hazel as our Waitress. She is very nice, beautiful and her service... was perfect!! All of our Food came out spectacular and delicious... No complaints here. Read more

Wow. This place was great!! Got the gnocchi with short rib and it was a perfect meal. Very tasty. The drink, the port old... fashion, was also really good!! I recommend stirring it a little to get the hint of maple syrup to the whole drink. Read more
Had a great experience for our first time at Alba. It was a Friday night and it was jammed packed. We headed to the bar to order... a drinks while we waited and there were 2 great waitresses that saw us waiting to get drinks and took down our order and gotthem to the bar to be made, then proceeded to help us get sat at a table. Drink and food were really good. The parmesan trufflefries were nice and crispy. We got 3 sushi rolls and I would come back just for the sushi! We split the Gnocchi with short ribwhich was full of taste. Will definitely be back. Read more
All around very good. Everything I ate was delicious. Portion size was pretty good which is something you want to see when you... look at the price of some of the items. I got wings which were amazing, spicy crunchy roll which was very tasty and trufflefries. The highlight was the sushi. When it came out the price went right out the window. Will definitely return. Awesome service. Great food. I used to have to go into Boston for a good steak, not anymore. Everything they serve is fresh and... tastes good. Drinks are made very well and once the staff get to know you they call you by name and I?ve made a few friends.Just a great experience overall and I highly recommend it. The only reason it?s not 5 stars is the set up of the restaurant andthe bar is not big enough to accommodate everyone, also, they need better coffee. For me?.5 stars is perfect and I have not seenthe perfect restaurant as of yet. Read more
