Stopped in here for a brew and some dinner after a long day's drive. What a treat! The space is fun and evocative without being... kitschy - lots of well-polished wood and an expansive bar. The beer - a fine IPA - was delicious. But the food... that wasextraordinary! I had a catfish dinner that was truly outstanding - fish done to perfection and amazingly crispy fries. My wifehad a taco trio and couldn't decide if she liked the pork better than the cauliflower or... maybe the chicken! Read more

So it was OK, but not great. The beer selection was fun, and I enjoyed trying the Scotch ale. The Twain's Cuban was OK, but... needed something to balance the salty/oily, but did not have it. The portobella fries were OK, but not great ... most of all,the problem was that it was served with three very mild sauces. Should have one that is mild, one that is spicy, and one that isstrong and cheesy. So overall OK, but just not quite all there. Read more

We went with family, and it is definitely a popular spot. There is absolutely a wait so don't go super hungry. However, I feel... you are going for the experience so we were fine with that. The food was good, not over-priced, and service was good. Nocomplaints! Read more

I had the taco platter and chose the Fish Taco, Chicken Taco and Pork Carnitas Taco. All of the tacos were great, my favorite... was the Pork Carnitas Taco. The platter came with chips cheese and salsa as well. My husband had the Smoked Chicken ClubSandwich he said it was really good, and the BBQ sauce was on point. This was a great place to dine in downtown Hannibal. Read more

Great beer, GREAT catfish, and an overall comfortable place.... But I want to talk about Letisha! We are on a road trip from... Phoenix to Chicago, stopped in here as a pit stop. She could tell we were road weary, and went above and beyond with both herservice, and kindness. I hope MTBC knows how lucky they are to have her! It is a shame we were just passing through, if we livedcloser, we would be regulars. Read more

Food was delicious. They have a really nice upstairs bar and seating with Riverview. Also a really nice roof patio overlooking... the river and main street. Lot's of beer and drinks. Very neat old wharehouse atmosphere. Read more

Great alcohol, friendly staff, and clean building the Mark Twain Brewery was on point here, unfortunately the new cookstaff were... not on point during the visit, a couple of dishes were undercooked - medium rare burger was basically rare, bacon was soft (thiswas a positive but had the person preferred crispy it'd be different, unlike the burger they weren't asked how crispy, so thiswas up to the chef when making it). Of the two specials, the Shoeless Joe came out better than the Juicy Lucy. Sides wereprepped and plattered before the entrees were ready, as the slaw and potato salad had warmed. Good presentation and rustic feel.Definetly recommend for the brewed beer though. Read more
