Crocker House has always been one of our favorite restaurants. With Covid, we had not been there in a couple of years. We... rectified that last night and went there to celebrate my wife?s birthday. We were happy to discover that the quality of food andservice has not dimmed. The filets were prepared to perfection and the service we received from Tim, Laura, and Joshua wasexcellent. The Crocker Inn team really came through and made our evening quite enjoyable. We definitely recommend thisrestaurant. Read more

It was all great. We had problems with our timing and they accommodated. The menu! We had a very difficult time choosing but it... fell on the roast duckling. Wow. The riesling had a lot of body and was a perfect fit. It was an hour drive for us but it waswell worth it. Intimate charming well thought out. The service was personable and attentive. I would?ve taken photos but it waslate and they?re still under renovation. Being able to handle untimely construction delays and still provide this level ofservice is ?.. I?ll take photos next time. I wish someone had written about the extensive construction that is currently underway at this inn. The outside and inside are a... mess! We checked in on a Saturday night after coming out of Acadia for the day - and it was manic. When we were shown to ourroom, we took steep steps up to the third. A word of caution for those who have mobility challenges. Also given that it wasalready cold outside, the cold was inside - the bathroom and room was old. There was a mobile heater but it?s rather unsafe tokeep this on all night. The saving grace of the stay was the lovely breakfast service. The young ladies were kind and attentiveto everyone - even when it became quite busy during the service. I would recommend staying here only if you have limited optionsto pick from. Read more

This quaint B&B didn't look as we expected. Apparently a new owner recently took over and is remodeling the place. Once inside... though, our room was clean and the bed was ok. It took long for the shower to get hot, but once it did it felt great. The roomis much like you would expect an old New England house to be like. There is wifi but no TV. The breakfast was AMAZING andincluded. You could order eggs, omelets, meats, pancakes, homemade muffins. It was truly the best breakfast we had whiletraveling anywhere! The gentleman who checked us in told us where we could enjoy a little walk and catch the sunset. So ourfirst impression was unsettling but it turned out to be a lovely overnight stay and a delicious start to our morning. I wouldlike to go back to see what the renovations look like and to enjoy more of those homemade lemon poppy muffins. Read more

A group of 7 ladies and myself went to the Crocker House last Sunday evening. It could not have been better. The food, without... exception , was wonderful and the service was amazing! All the meals were prepared perfectly, I had the filet mignon with wildmushrooms and it was medium rare! All the meals came with a delicious salad with their homemade dressing which was exceptional. The cocktails were raved about and for me , I was so happy that they carried Athletic non- alcoholic IPA. We ate outside onthe new stone patio, which is beautiful,. We won't soon forget this wonderful evening and we will look forward to going back. Read more

Food is good. I didn't get all of my leftovers from dinner. Dessert is overpriced.

Our stay at the Crocker House Inn began with a personal greeting from our gracious host, Joshua. He took the time to show us... around the inn and to our rooms, making us feel very welcomed and informed about our stay. Joshua is also well-acquainted withsome of the best viewpoints and hikes of this area, which we greatly appreciated being that my cousin and I had never been toMaine. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was very satisfying and much appreciated before long days at Acadia NationalPark. The omelette of the day is quite filling and delightful, but I personally preferred the blueberry pancakes (made with wildMaine blueberries!). The steady coffee and water refills were also much appreciated. We were inspired by other reviewers to trydinner at the inn, and we were not disappointed! I ordered the scallops, and my cousin ordered the seafood pasta. They were bothgreat selections with very filling portions! Our only regret was that we couldn?t finish it all (but man did we try). We orderedthe lemon blueberry cheesecake to round out our evening of good eats, and it was mouthwateringly marvelous. I highly recommendit. I look forward to the day that I am back in Maine and am once again a guest at the Crocker House Inn! Read more
