I was beyond excited about this restaurant, as the food was delicious the previous time I ordered. I placed an order through... grubhub today, only for the order to be incomplete when it arrived & also the biscuit option to be changed. I was not notifiedthey were out of sweet potato biscuits, before my order was delivered. Normally the restaurant calls & asks if the change isacceptable. I called to politely ask if my driver was at fault, or if the restaurant forgot part of my order. I was given asnarky reply & definitely not treated as a valued customer. I have never gone out of my way to leave a negative review, but Icannot believe that I was spoken to, as if I inconvenience to this location. I was unaware if it is after 11:30 they will changethe biscuit option. I now have to wait 7 days for a refund from grubhub. I also got an oatmeal cookie that was stale. That canbe reheated & made soft, but the rude conversation was enough to make me never return. I?m sure I?m just another patron thatthey will forget about, but this was not a pleasant interaction in the least bit. Read more

Love momos cafe!! Delicious food and great service. My favorite are the peanut butter bars and her red cabbage. Always a great... place to stop. Also she does dinners to go with her personal chef work. I unfortunately got covid and was down for a week. So Iordered dinner and desserts for the week. She came all the way to Williamsburg to leave at my door!! My husband and I where soappreciative and happy to have yummy homemade food. She has a new location go check her out!! Would have been one star but wasn't really a Monte Cristo. It was made with French toast which was a bit over done instead of... being battered dipped and very disappointing. I got the chicken and waffles special and was also very disappointing. The waffleswould have to improve to be as good as eggo waffles and the chicken was okay but there was very little of it. If they stay opena while we'll go back and see if it was just a one-time thing. Read more
MOMO's Cafe is a good little spot for some scratch made food located inside the Liz Moore building. She's currently running a... $10 Summer Buffet deal that is a spectacular value. The fee provides you with mixed green salad, pasta salad, fresh cutwatermelon, potato salad (not the traditional mayonnaise based, but a much taster garlic, olive oil, and roast pepper version),sweet corn on the cob, fried chicken (legs & wings), pulled chicken bbq, coleslaw, buns, and a type of lemon scone pastry. Thebest part was the ice cream dessert at the end. House made vanilla ice cream with a decadent fudge walnut pudding, and a sugarcookie type crust served in a dainty tea cup. Buffet included pink lemonade at no additional cost. Other sodas available forpurchase, including what appeared to be fresh made Italian cream soda. Decor is very eclectic with varying types of chairs andtables. Each table had unique salt and pepper shakers. It was pretty busy the day I went thanks to an article in the DailyPress.
