Pretty much a strip center sushi place our bartender/waitress was horrible. But I wasn't expecting much and I didn't get much.

Great atmosphere, family friendly, good prices and quality food! Flavorful and lots of it!

We lived in Japan for three years and I really enjoyed this sushi!

Went for lunch and as always, they delivered great sushi in a timely manner. There aren't many places to go to in Hampstead,... especially if you're gluten free, but Sushi Gem always delivers great food and decent service. We go there ALOT, and are sograteful to have them in town. Read more

This place is excellent!! Super fresh/hot food and the sweet and sour chicken was delicious chunks of white meat with a breading... that wasn?t greasy! Best we have ever had! Awesome chicken pad Thai and spring rolls! Massive portions. So thankful to have agood Chinese place locally! Read more

Upon walking in? there were 3 people at the counter trying to figure out someone else?s bill. There was absolutely no... acknowledgement that were even standing there. When they finally did get ready to seat us, we were pointed to a seat by whatseemed to be the owner. We were finally walked over to a dirty table by an employee. A female which turned out to be thebartender/our waitress, wiped the table down and the employee seated us at a wet table. We asked for it to be dried naturally inwhich he came over with a paper towel. At this point, we were ready to just walk out, but stayed merely because we like thefood. Throughout the ?restaurant experience?, our waitress came over clearly in a hurry, spoke very to the point and stern muchdifferent than her customers at the bar. We gave our card before we got the bill as to quickly get out which appeared to be muchappreciated by her that we were leaving. Customer service here is TERRIBLE!!! The food is very good however. A ?to go? optionwould probably be ideal for this restaurant, but the food is too expensive to support this experience. Read more

Food is great, atmosphere is nice, my husband and I had been going here for over a year and never had any issues. The other... night we went and we had the worst waitress, she was nice but she was focusing on cleaning up (I?m assuming she had closingshift?) that she didn?t check up on us, my husband did not not get his drink until we finished our entrees. He notified a busboy and another waitress due to ours being nowhere in sight, once she finally delivered his drink along with our check sheblamed the bartender which did not set the vibe any better. this place was absolutely great, and the environment was awesome. it was little pricey, but it's sushi, so thats understandable.
